I've seen a lot of celebrities but I don't usually say anything because I try to be New York cool and act like it's not a big deal.

I sat next to Dennis Rodman on a plane once, he was pretty cool. I saw Mike Tyson at a U2 concert, he was in a lot of trouble around then, so I kept my distance.

@mrsjazz: Didn't you meet NPH? I swear you said you did and I remembered because I loooove him so.
And I've never really met any celebrities. Well, I met Shania Twain way before she was famous and I was like 7 years old. But I don't even count that. I've seen a handful running around Vegas and NYC, but never met them.
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
I also walked past Sandra Bullock in new orleans and she was holding her son...She is the most miniscule person on the planet. Like she didn't look anorexic/unhealthy, just every thing about her is TINY. Her face, shoulders, etc. She is so small! And he is soooo adorable!

@BananaPancakes: Haha, yes but I didn't actually meet him. I entertained him. We were at a restaurant and my table of friends and his table were the only two occupied in the section. I was doing a pretty snarky impression of Christina Ricci with a cardboard cutout of her face and Doogie laughed hysterically. I did a little bow at the table fafter he laughed and he smiled at me. Thanks for reminding me!

I met and shook hands with former President George Bush and former VP Dick Cheney while working on their campaigns back in the day. I also met Sara Evans backstage at her concert once. Wayne Brady rode my plane once. I'm sure there are others but right now my mind is blank.
Last night though my 18 year old sister was out with her friends for her birthday and ran in to Dave Chapelle who refused to take a photo with them. He was high and drunk, no surprise, lol.

They were all senators when I worked an event in DC: Hilary Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Evan Bayh.
Elijah Wood once opened a door for me in NYC, I didn't even realize who it was until my friend pointed it out. He and I are exactly the same height (and I am not tall)!
Mike Tyson, Uma Thurman (gorgeous in person!), Catherine Zeta Jones and Micheal Douglas along with Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni at a gala in NYC. Had dinner once literally 6 feet away from Jean-Paul Gaultier in Paris and I've seen him on the street a few times too. Belgian author Amélie Nothomb at various book signings. Steve McCurry the photographer, he came to speak at one of my college classes, best class ever and I got to grill him about photo since there were only 12 of us in the class.

Well I met Dale Jarrett at Daytona beach one year when I was on vacation and during the week of the Daytona 500. We played a game of wiffle ball on the beach with him and his kids. I was real young so I don't really remember. So I don't count it.
