We once saw Fat Joe and the Terror Squad eating at a long table at the Cheesecake Factory in Chestnut Hill, MA. It was hilarious. I think they were in town for the democratic national convention.

We saw Ming Tsai at his restaurant... we sat next to Boston's Mayor Menino and his wife at a restaurant once... Jessica Biel dated one of my friends in college so I saw her once in the dorms... I think that's it?

Does Mr. Food count? I saw him in the airport. Other than that, I met a lot of celebrities when I worked at ESPN. Sports figures and broadcasters, mostly. My favorite was Michelle Kwan, dressed up in her skating garb for a commercial they were shooting.

I went to Pepperdine in Malibu my first year of college and ran into/met celebrities often. Adam Sandler used to play bball with students outside my dorm room (super nice guy!), Rob Schneider, David Duchovny, Bebo Norman, Dashboard Confessional, Pamela Anderson, Stevie Wonder, Vin Diesel, Essence Atkins, Brandy, Tia & Tamara Mowry (they went to Pepperdine and we sat together for the weekly religious mtg), Danny Devito, Brandon Boyd from Incubus, Renee Russo, and I think that's it.... Oh yea - I saw PACEY (Joshua Jackson) on the streets of NY when I was visiting my brother and when I said OMG PACEY he turned around and winked!

I live near Wilmington, NC (and I actually lived in the city for 4 years) and I've NEVER seen anyone famous! That's ridiculous because One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek and a ton of movies were filmed here! I know a few people who go to the same gym as Mouth from OTH/Minkus from Boy Meets World. Also Wilmington is Michael Jordan's hometown and a few of my friends have seen him out in restaurants. But I've never seen anyone

In NYC: Conan O'Brien, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Yoko Ono, Slash, Bethenny/Jason/Bryn, Jessica Simpson, Sarah Machlaclan, John Lithgow, and most/all of the cast members Glee and GossipGirl (live tapings on the street).... In LA: Katherine McPhee at Tito's Tacos. Tom Hanks' son went to my college and I lived next door to Busy Phillips freshman year.

I never really notice celebs. Most of these sightings I noticed only because someone else with me pointed these people out to me!

@NYCaliMama: yeah, most of them were in midtown where i have always worked (except for the last year). celebs are always on 5th ave and madison.

I used to work as a nanny in LA, so meeting celebrities was just part of the job. I won't mention the ones I've worked for (nobody spectacular, I promise) but will list a few of the fun ones that I've met...

I've met Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Arquette (when they were still married), and David's sister, Patricia Arquette.

I've also met Paul Reubens aka Pee Wee Herman. At his home. Strangest meeting to date.

While going to school at UCLA: Nicole Kidman, Michelle Kwan (took me out to dinner when rushing my sorority - which her coach would not let her join), Jay Leno, Jack Black

In San Diego: Kellan Lutz (got to talk to him for half an hour!), Jessica Beal. Mary Murphy (from So You Think You Can Dance), David Arquette

In New York: Rhianna

In Palm Springs: That guy from Scream, Matthew Lillard (I danced with him)

Ran into foxy brown a few years ago 2x shopping In soho. Adrien grenier (entourage guy) and his gorgeous date. Morimoto outside his restaurant. John legend and his gf.

Rebecca gayheart in a hotel arguing with her then boyfriend , not mcsteamy while in las Vegas.

A few others that I can't remember right now. I would never approach a celebrity though.

I've seen a few--I can't remember all of them, but I went to college in Claremont, CA where Ben Harper has a shop, so I ran into him once there. Also, randomly, Mark Cuban was in town and at the bar where I had my bachelorette party a couple of years ago, so he danced with us and bought us drinks--pretty nice guy in person.

I met Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen at Six Flags Magic Mountain when I was about 9 years old. They were just normal kids. I've also met Henry Winkler (the Fonz) and Ron Howard. I met them both at a roller rink birthday party when I was 10. I've never seen any other celebrities though

I went to a New Years party at a friend of a friend's place in NYC. Anna Paquin was there (this was before True Blood, I think it was around the time she was in X-men). She was going through some sort of goth phase I think. I wanted to say HI but felt like a dork!

My sister lives in LA and we went to a random club - Tom Green (comedian/Drew Barrymore's ex husband). I think he was either really drunk or on something though.
