We used to have a similar table, and we had these kind of chairs with it.

We have those same chairs for our wooden table, from target. My sisters farmhouse table looks nearly identical to yours and she as well has the metal ones from target.

I have to say I love the look of an upholstered chair with a wooden farmhouse table though!

@Foodnerd81: even then, people tend to put their feet on the bottom rungs, and you can see the wear.

I prefer stain for chairs. I currently have ones that are finished in a colored stain and we hardly use them, but I can already see surface scratches and it bugs me!

@Foodnerd81: We bought painted chairs from Crate and Barrel six months ago and they are already chipping I'd agree with avoiding painted chairs if you can.

@Foodnerd81: I'm on the hunt for similar chairs as well. The Boston interiors chairs are really expensive to ship to me ($700 for 6 chairs just to ship! I'm in the Midwest). I think we're going to get some IKEA chairs (the ingolf ones). They actually make "junior chairs" which is great for my 4 year old who refuses to use a booster. We have been using the junior chair for about a month and it wipes down nicely and feels substantial. We think we might just get the adult versions and all the chairs can match.

@Foodnerd81: do you have a store near you? They have a lot of wood colors to choose from. I bet they'd let you bring a sample home to match to your table. I've been really happy with our wood chairs from there for the last 4 years.

Oops, just saw you posted you do have a store near, there is a warehouse in stoughton where you can pick up a lot of furniture.
