DD LOVES Mulan. Like full out obsessed. She also likes Frozen, Tangled (but I know they aren't considered classics) and finding nemo. She didn't really like Brave. Next id like to try little mermaid and Pocahontas. But these days girl only has eyes for Mulan.

Cinderella is a hit around here!

@JerricaBenton: My kids went through a huge Dumbo phase, too! We used to watch the first part that was somewhat happy, then stop it when it started to get weird/sad. They really just liked the animals, I think!

They also like Lion King and Finding Nemo. I'd like to show them 101 Dalmations someday since they love dogs.

My lo doesnt watch tv, but loooves disney movies. She loves snow white, sleeping beauty and cinderella. She has also gone through stages of obsession with lion king, dumbo and of course frozen. We recently rented alice in Wonderland from the library and she loved it. Ive been thinking of trying the little Mermaid because she loves the book, but im not sure if she'd like Ursula. We have to skip certain scenes in snow white and sleeping beauty because she gets scared.

Lady and the Tramp and Jungle Book are DD's favorites.

Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jungle Book, Cinderella, Mary Poppins to name a few.

She's watching The Little Mermaid right now while DH and I clean the apartment. It's her favorite.

LO loves Cinderella, Peter Pan, and the The Little Mermaid. We've tried Aladdin, but she's a little afraid of it. We have a lot of the classic movies, and we're cycling through them. But given her choice of anything, she'd choose Finding Nemo, The Princess and the Frog, or Cinderella.

LO's absolute favorite is Cinderella. We watched 101 Dalmatians but Cruella De Vil was too scary. Lady and the Tramp is another one she liked but we haven't watched it in a while. She also loves Ariel but I felt like The Little Mermaid was scaring her, too, so we have been taking a break from that one.

We tried Pocahontas a few months ago and she wasn't into it. She has changed so much though, I think we might try it again and see what she thinks.

I have really been wanting to watch The Lion King with her. This thread has reminded me of others she might like, too: Beauty & The Beast, Princess & The Frog & Jungle Book!

@Charm54: Oh, I always forget about Mulan too! How scary is it though? I feel like there is a lot of fighting.

She hasn't seen any movies yet but in the future I will show her most of the classics if she is interested. We don't own any but I'm sure we will at some point. The main ones I would like to avoid are Beauty and the Beast (stockholm syndrome anyone?), Bambi (depressing), Dumbo (depressing), and Pocahontas (she was like.. basically a sex slave in real life, yes?).

My favs I'd encourage her to watch would be Mulan, Nemo, Aladdin, Toy Story, Brave, etc.

He likes to watch Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Lion King, Snow White... we like Disney movies! lol I find them on Ebay for a reasonable price.

Although not a classic Disney movie, she's really into the original Winnie the Pooh!

We watched The Princess & The Frog today. LO liked it especially the songs but the story line was way over her head and there were some scary parts (she's 2).

LO loves all the ones she's seen, which is basically all of them. We won't be screening Bambi or Dumbo in this house (there may be others as well, but those are the big ones we'll avoid), and no Pinochhio for a long while.
