Our kitchen renovation is almost finished!
DH has painted half of the walls. Just the other half and the woodwork (skirting, doors) to go! But, we've hit a problem. He no longer thinks the colour we chose for one of the walls is right.
We were initially inspired by Orla Kieley's Stem design (as shown on this mug). We were going to paint the walls the blue and yellow to create a sense of a sunny day, streaming through the windows from our garden which, in bloom, is rather lovely. But now DH thinks he might prefer the blue all the way around, or even keeping the other side white. I'm not sure, because I really, really loved the yellow idea...... but I see what he means.....
The wall in question I the one on the right of the picture, by the breakfast bar (which will have 4 wooden stools when we've painted).
