One that doesn't suffer from colic and acid reflux I feel bad for those babies but man are they difficult and energy draining....:(

Lo was an easy baby.
She ate and slept well, didn't fuss, never cried.

Have you tried the gas remover thing from the makers of nose Frieda? I forget what it's called, but @mrbee started a thread about it a while back..

I would say my very difficult baby, is now a very easy toddler. Things that make him easy - We can take him out to restaurants and he doesn't scream. He will go out and do activities with us (Disneyland) and doesn't have a break down (even without full naps or schedule). We can keep him up past his bedtime and he will stay happy. We do suffer more at home with night wakings. But others don't see that.

The things he doesn't do - He doesn't sleep. As an infant, he screamed constantly from stomach pains.

I think our lo is a good baby. She has never been really fussy except during her 6 week growth spurt. She let's anyone hold her and is usually happy to fall asleep on her own if I put her in her bassinet while she is still awake. Sure we had feeding issues but that doesn't change my mind about how easy she is. We think this means she'll be a terror as a teen. :-\

I think a baby who falls asleep on their own is at least partly an easy baby. LO sleeps well most nights, but will not fall asleep on her own - she will just scream at the top of her lungs if put down. She also really needs to be held most of the day while awake. She does eat well but has bad gas pains, and is colicky; although slowly but surely that is getting better. I don't think she's a "difficult" baby, but she is definitely not an easy baby either. Daycare is going to earn every cent we pay them!

LO does LOVE people, loves to smile and interact with people, loves to see and interact with the world around her, and has a very sweet personality. Once we get her gas and colic issues under control, I think she will be a pretty easy baby.

To me, an easy baby is one that lets you know what they want, by showing cues for hunger or tiredness.
