Nothing is holding my sons blowouts... I've tried kirkland and pampers nighttime and still having a huge mess when we get up in the morning....huge. He's in a size 4 so it can't be too small of a diaper.
Any suggestions? Do cloth diapers work better?! Thanks!

We use honest brand and seventh generation without problems but lo is only 3 weeks old.

Have you tried to go one size up? The bigger size will allow for more poop room. That worked well for both of my boys. And make sure you make it snug around his waist. Oh, and we used Pampers Swaddlers and Baby Dry.

Cloth for sure! GroVia and gDiapers are both hybrids, so you can flush the liners. We use a mix of GroVia and BumGenius and have had maybe two blowouts, ever.

I've only had one blowout in cloth, and three this week in disposables. She's 2.5 months old.

We've tried Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs and he's blownout in all of them!

I've never had a blowout with Pampers Swaddlers (they are avaible to size 5 now) I have had blow outs with Up & Up, Huggies, and Luvs!

@Alivoo01: I haven't tried luvs (where do you buy them?) but I have tried Huggies, pampers and target brand. Blow outs in all of them.

@evansjamie: I love, love, love. I can wall you a pic of DS in them if you want. They are way trimmer than the BumGenius, especially in the tab and snap area.

@.twist.: Not sure in Canada, but in the states, you can get them at the same place you get other diapers so Wal-Mart, Target, drugstore, etc.
I put DS in a Target brand diaper yesterday (the elf patterned one), and no blow out in that (yet). But he's only pooped in it once so the verdict is yet to be determined. Ha!

I think the Rumparooz cloth diapers are the most bullet-proof for poop due to the double gussets, but they're a little bulky and pretty pricey! We have a few Rumparooz and we'll use them if we'll be likely to diaper change less frequently than normal like if we're out of the house all day so changing opportunities are limited, or if I do a diaper change around 2-4 am (we use fitteds for 12 hours overnight otherwise).

Cloth. We only use BumGenius (I'd love to try different brands but that's all we have at this point) and LO has never had a blow out in them. He always seems to have a blow out in disposables no matter what the brand!
