What did you and your SO do on your last anniversary? Our anniversary was yesterday so we went wine tasting in Napa on Sunday and then out to dinner. Yesterday we went to the drive in and saw Sherlock Holmes and New Year's Eve. It was a lot of fun!

Ugh, ours is super depressing. We went out to one of our favorite steakhouses and had an amazing meal. Sadly, on the drive home we were hit by a man in a high speed police chase in a stolen vehicle. So, we spent the night in the ER :(. We do like to joke our first wedding anniversary was a "smash-hit" though!!

That sounds fun!
We stayed in a b&b in the town we got married in. We couldn't stay in the one we got married at because they aren't dog friendly and I wanted to bring our pup. There was a big animal rescue event going on and we went to a dog beach. And we went around to all of the places we loved that we have pictures in front of at our wedding and took new pictures. It was fun because it was a year later and I was pregnant.

Our anniversary is in March. Last March, the hubs was supposed to take and entire week off and we were supposed to go away for our anni. Things at work got SO swamped that his bosses FORGOT about his vacation and the hubs couldn't just not go to work so of course I was pissed and sad. When the crazy work season ended the hubs spoke to his boss and they felt TERRIBLE so they told the hubs to take me out to a fancy dinner on them. It was alright.

Happy Anniversary!
We went yurt camping and exploring on the coast for a 3 or 4 nights, and then came inland and stayed in a fancy hotel for 2 nights and saw a bunch of plays. We always try to take a week off and take some sort of fun trip for our anni, even if it's on the cheap.

We didnt do anything! Well, I take that back, we went to Applebee's for appetizers

Um, I can't remember? How sad! Our's was in the middle of the week so I think we just ate dinner out and maybe had too much wine? But really, I can't remember it!

We traveled to Charleston, SC to visit friends for our second anniversary. It was an amazing weekend. We saw plantations, drank delicious beer, did an at home shrimp boil, and had loads of fun.

I was almost 41 weeks pregnant on our last anniversary. We went to my OB for an ultrasound, scheduled an induction, and had brunch at the same restaurant we ate at the morning after our wedding.

We got married again, I joke that he loved me so much that he married me twice.
We had our legal exactly a year before our church wedding because of a death in the family right before our originally scheduled wedding.

For our first anniversary, we went back to our venue (the zoo) and had a nice dinner at our rehearsal dinner restaurant. 6 weeks later we went on a cruise, which is where we finally had all the pieces add up for a BFP!

I was super preggo for our anniversary so we didn't do anything and I was so sad about it This year we will do something nice. Even if just a romantic meal I'd be happy. I want to make up for not doing anything this past year by going to dinner at the venue when we visit my parents in January. I can't wait because I want to buy a bottle of wine and I haven't had a drink in over a year!

@MaisyMay: Happy anniversary!
I found out I was pregnant about 6 days before our anniversary in August. We went to dinner and to see Avenue Q off-broadway. We were almost late because one of my early pregnancy symptoms was horrible gas pains But it was great!

I think we went to The Melting Pot...?? My favorite restaurant, NOT baby/toddler friendly so we go whenever we get the chance. While we try to make anniversaries a good excuse to get each other nice presents (i.e. Rob Sr. was wearing a cheap plastic watch from Target every day, and as someone in a managerial position that doesn't look too good!) we mostly just try to take advantage of having a babysitter and go out and eat and drink.

It was our 1-year anniversary, and we went to Hawaii for a week-long trip. It served the dual purpose of being our belated honeymoon. I found out I was pregnant 3 days before our anniversary, so I told DH in a card on our anniversary
This coming year it looks like we'll probably be moving out of our house (and heading halfway across the country) on our anniversary. ...with a 4-month old. I guess we'll have to celebrate on a different day.

For our last anniversary (which was our first anniversary!) we had just come back from our belated honeymoon of 2 weeks in Europe so we just went out to dinner. We went to our favorite fancy place that we go for all special occasions but not more often than that because we can’t get out of there for less than $250 but, its totally worth it! We’ll probably do the same thing this year, since we’ll have an almost 3 month old baby (but, my parents will babysit, of course!).

For our 1 year anniversary in September, we went back to London, one of the places we visited on our honeymoon. For our 2 year anniversary next year, we already have a vacation booked to go to Brugge, another honeymoon stop, but this time, we will be bringing our baby with. We plan to travel to a new location if possible every year to celebrate our anniversary.

We drove up from to Dallas (since we were in Houston for Christmas with my folks) and were able to go to the church where we got married on our actual anniversary. That night we went to our fav restaurant for a special dinner and stayed the night in a nice hotel.
It was so nice to be able to celebrate in Dallas, since we hadn't been there since moving to the UK after the wedding.

We went out to dinner at the restaurant where we celebrated our first dating anniversary. It was significant to us, because the first time we went there the waiter thought we meant that we were celebrating our first marriage anniversary and kept congratulating us.. and we didn't correct him and hid our hands under the tablecloth. So we sort of thought we owed it to them to come back for real and order the chefs tasting menu instead of the two cheapest items on the menu

Our first anniversary was in April. We exchanged paper themed gifts, went out to a great restaurant, and stayed in a suite downtown. Our real celebration, a trip to Paris, was postponed until May when we could fit it in our schedules.

Our first annivesary was in September and we took a trip to an all-inclusive resort to Cabo! We missed our flight there and had to lose a day (no $ loss) and got really bad food poisoning on the way back from airplane food. but the stay there was perfect!
We went the week before our anniversary and on our actual day, DH setup a rose petal bath for me to take while he cooked a five course dinner!

Nothing too exciting. We just went to our fav place in town to eat. His parents were up visiting so we didnt want to be away too long with them just waiting at our house and what not.

We literally came back from the Thanksgiving holiday on our anniversary and were exhausted. We had dinner reservations (skipped that) and Broadway show tickets. We went to the show, but we were exhausted. Next year, we're going to come back home a day earlier from the holidays and actually not be too tired to celebrate!

For our last anniversary (2 years) my husband surprised me and flew me to the mountains for the weekend - super romantic! We stayed at the same place we got engaged at

We went out to dinner the night before our anniversary (so we wouldn't have to go out on Sunday night). On our anniversary, we spent most of the day trying to figure out if we had to take my husband to the ER (we didn't). We had visited San Francisco two weeks before our anniversary and called that our anniversary trip.

We went to Solvang, which is this little Danish touristy town in SoCal. We wine tasted, fed ostriches, and lounged around in the hot tub with mimosas! It's where they filmed "Sideways," so we also went to the Hitching Post II which is the restaurant in the movie.
We're going back for our 3rd anniversary when I'll be 5 months, so no wine tasting, mimosas, or hot tubs for me

Our anniversary is in August and it was our first! We celebrated early and went to Kauai for a second honeymoon/1st anniversary trip. On our actual anniversary, we went for a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

On our actual anniversary dh took me out to a super nice restaurant in the city, and we sat at the chefs table, which is a table that's actually in the kitchen, so you get to see all the food being prepared and get to meet the chef which was awesome. That morning, we also had brunch at the place where we got married, AND we had the same waiter we had 2 years ago when we ate there and were trying to decide if we wanted to have the wedding there.
