I didn't have time for breakfast this morning, so all I've had is a coffee and a zone bar that I found in my desk. Thank god for that.

I have totally failed in my eating today. I'm at that point of early pregnancy where all I want is carbs and meat and veggies make me feel ill
Breakfast: everything bagel w/ cream cheese + a coke (so embarrassed about the coke! I am trying not to drink much pop but sometimes when my stomach sucks it is the only thing that settles it)
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Organic white cheddar mac and cheese from TJ's
I plan to have an orange for an afternoon snack and I don't know what I'm having for dinner yet. I'm trying to think of something sorta-nutritious at least that sounds like it won't make me sick

I had a green smoothie (with spinach, Greek yogurt, skim milk, strawberries, blueberries, and a banana) for breakfast. Then I had a low carb tortilla with tomatoes, leftover chicken, and hummus on it with just a few cucumber slices on the side for lunch. Plus I ate a pumpkin chocolate brownie right after that. I haven't had my afternoon snack yet but I'm thinking of cutting up a red pepper and having a bit more hummus (although another brownie sounds delicious).
For dinner I'm making zucchini cups stuffed with marinara, ground beef, onions, and green peppers and then I'll probably have another brownie. I have to get rid of them, right?

@Mae: no need to apologize or be embarrassed! I'm only just now starting to eat things that sound edible to normal people, and it doesn't always work out. I drink so much coke, because that is often all I can handle. So yeah. Do what you need to do!

I was terrible at breakfast today - I ate a cider donut that I warmed in the microwave.
Lunch wasn't much better - a grilled cheese sandwich, but I purposely made it so I could give some to Lady M.
Going to go find an apple now.

@Mae: I lived off of chicken nuggets and fries early in my pregnancy. Nothing else sounded good. Totally normal. It took me into the second trimester to eat like an adult again.

So far I've had: half a yellow kiwi (kids' leftovers), a siggi blueberry yogurt tube, a snack size bag of sour cream and onion Lays, a Greek salad with chicken, and some grapes.

OK, I've now had greek yogurt, snap peas, and a few Hershey's kisses, and I'M STILL HUNGRY. Forcing myself to drink a few more glasses of water before I make any more food decisions, because I promise the next one is not going to be healthy. Oy.
