I wanted to be an astronaut. Then later on a doctor.
I'm in the science field now, so it's pretty close.

When I was really little I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader (we lived in Texas). Then a psychologist. Now i'm in PR.

I wanted to be a veterinarian. I majored in Spanish and now I own my own (unrelated to both) business from home.

I wanted to be a doctor for most of my childhood. I did one semester of pre-med in college and then quit. Doh.

a lawyer. i can't imagine myself being a lawyer now though!

A vet. I would still be a vet too if the YEARS of college didn't scare me away! I also wanted to be a teacher and a nurse.

I wanted to be an Olympic Dressage rider. I probably could have made that goal if my parents had a lot more money... they did their best though.

I wanted to be (in order of age from 5ish to late teens) a ballerina, a cowboy, a veterinarian, a lawyer, a teacher, a therapist.
I was insistent that I was going to be a cowboy, not a cowgirl. When I was in middle school our family's vet let me ride around with him for a few days, which was pretty cool. Then in middle school/high school when my parents were divorcing, my siblings and I were in counseling. I remember thinking that our therapist didn't have a clue and I could do it better.
Now I'm a social worker for kids in residential care, and a big part of my job is therapy with kids and teens.

I wanted to be a singer and started out college studying opera. Unfortunately, I just couldn't hack it, but it was also no fun, so it all worked out.
Now I'm a writer and a teacher at a university. I'd also like to become a doula someday.

A lawyer because I liked to argue, lol! I couldn't imagine actually doing that now.

an astronaut when I was really little... then a doctor for most of my childhood, but that was mostly because of my parents' wishes. thank goodness I didn't become a doctor though. I have seen firsthand the hours they work. I couldn't do it and respect those who do!

A music therapist. I was a weird kid. But I actually ended up being an art therapist.

When I was really young I wanted to be a vet and fly. So I could "fly sick animals around to better places" Yeah I dont know...hahaha. As I hit Jr. High I wanted to join the Military, I did so I guess that worked out. Now I work FOR the military even though I am no longer in.

When I was really little I wanted to be an archaeologist because it was the longest word I could spell. Yeah, I was a nerd. I did get to help out on an excavation once though. After that I wanted to be a teacher and stuck with that one. I taught last year but got laid off, so I manage a bridal salon now.

I wanted to be an anchorwoman. Looked like fun for some reason and I would always be practicing in front of my parents, making up fake news about things that were going on in my neighborhood. Like "Fuzzy the next door neighbor's cat has been missing for 4 days. Nobody has heard from her. Her food tray remains full and she not eaten anything for 4 days. Please call us if you know where she is."

A marine biologist. I wanted to study sharks, specifically great whites. I had a hard time with Freshman Biology so I doubt I could have fulfilled my child hood dream if I wanted to. I still love reading about sharks.

i wanted to be a vet. but i found at in jhs and hs that i sucked at science.

I wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice... too bad, reading long court cases bored me to tears, so I never ended up in law school.

I wanted to be an astronaut, too. We live in Florida, so my parents even sent me to Space Camp a few times. I simultaneously wanted to be a marine biologist, as well.
Enter high school; I realized I couldn't do more than basic math or physical science to save my life. So those dreams died rather quickly.
