I wore sweats, a nursing tank and a hoodie.

I completely underestimate HOW flabby and gross I'd still be. I ended up wearing the same clothing I went in wearing--grody! It was the only thing I had that fit. I brought a dress but just felt nasty in it. This time around, yoga pants, a tank, and a tee for sure.

It was the middle of winter and I had had a c-section. I wore yoga pants, nursing bra and some sort of sweatshirt or maternity shirt. I continued to wear that same uniform back and forth to the nicu for the next 3 weeks because the csection incision was no joke!

@matador84: same! I was gross. I didn't expect to still be so big.

I wore yoga pants and a nursing tank with a cardigan.

@Foodnerd81: I assumed I would be gigantic when I left the hospital, so I didn't bother with a pair of cute pants or or a new shirt or anything..I just brought a comfy maternity shirt. I ended up being much smaller than I expected, but I was still very glad to have my comfy outfit of flip flops, yoga pants, tank top, and maternity shirt.

I wore a pajama dress and light robe home. I remember sitting on the edge of the bed about to put on yoga pants and saying screw it.

Maternity pants and a tshirt... I didn't have a hospital bag lol.

Yoga pants, maternity tshirt, big slide sandals with Velcro to adjust and make wide for my very swollen feet!

I had packed maternity pants and a loose v-neck tee, but then I ended up with an emergency C-section and did NOT want to wear pants and have that pressure on the incision, so I had someone bring one of my maxi dresses to the hospital. I'd recommend packing something like that as a backup just in case - I hadn't because I wasn't at all anticipating a C-section and it had never occurred to me, but next time I'd pack a maxi dress so I'd be comfy no matter what! And it was one with a low V-neck so breastfeeding was easy.

I wore a maxi dress. It was great because I had a c-section and it was nice not to have to worry about having anything close o my incision.

Yoga pants, maternity tank and light cardigan. Even though its summer the hospital has ac, so I made sure to have layers. Honestly, wear whatever is comfortable. Also I ended up with a c section so some of the pants I brought irritated my incision. Bring a few options

Yoga pants, tank from Target, zip up hoodie.

I wore a knee-length cotton maternity dress. It was early September in GA and had been super hot so I was trying to plan for that. We ended up getting a random cold front but it wasn't a big deal for me. I liked that the dress was flowy and stretchy. I ended up with a csection and it was nice that I didn't have to worry about the dress rubbing on my incision.

No one sees you anyway when you've got a brand new baby with you. You could be wearing a burlap sack and no one would notice. So definitely wear something COMFY.
