It's like there's a uniform of yoga pants and nursing tank tops that all moms wear home (unless they had a c-section). I'll throw a maternity dress in just in case I have the c-section, even though I don't think I could nurse in it. Or rather, hopefully I'll wear it into the hospital so will already have it there.
When I told DH that I packed the bags and that he would have to just pack up his stuff (toiletries, change of clothes) he was like, well... is it going to be like, GO GO GO or do I have a few minutes to pack? I assured him it won't be like the movies

Maternity leggings, long tunic nursing top, and my Toms. It was chilly when I left.

I think perhaps your priorities will hopefully be on your baby and not on how you look.
Yoga pants, nursing tank and flip flops- after two sleepless nights in the hospital, I barely knew which way was up, much less cared how cute I looked. Even if people will be coming to see you right when you get home (why? Why? People, new parents do not need you to come see the baby right away!) who cares if you are comfy in sweat pants? No one will be looking at you anyway, they will be looking at your baby.

maternity yoga pants, nursing sleep bra and a maternity tee.
i highly suggest bringing two pair of maternity yoga pants...i wore the same pair for like 3 days straight because i liked how they kept the pad, underwear, ice pack in place. i wore a hospital gown at night and yoga pants during the day.

Maternity jeans and hoodie. Wish I would've worn sweats or yoga pants!

My favorite baggy comfy shirt (which is actually a beach cover-up by Free People), a nursing tank and sweats.

Maternity yoga pants and a fitted tee. I think I brought something a little cuter, but didn't feel up for it at the time. I almost didn't have the energy to put LO in his "coming home" outfit, but managed it.

Maternity jeans and a nicer maternity shirt. After being in a gown for most of my maternity stay, I wanted to be in something comfortable, but nice at the same time. I was tired of looking like a frump already!
