Baby girl gave us a scare last night, bees!

For three days now I've been thinking that her kicks were not as strong or as frequent as they were, but I've been telling myself that I'm just being a drama queen. Well, last night, she just didn't move at all, no matter what I tried. At 11pm, I called the hospital and they said to come straight in. I didn't even pause to put a bra on (!!), I just got up, grabbed my car keys and went to hospital in a daze. My hospital bags were sat in the back bedroom (duh!) and DH was 2 hours drive away on a tour bus, on his way home from a gig!!

When I got there, they wanted to hook me up to the monitors - presumably the same monitors I will be hooked up to when I have my induction/go into labour (I have GD so I will be monitored whichever way labour starts). Well, I was wearing a maxi dress and no bra! I had a choice - to pull my dress down and flash my baps or lift it up and sit there with my pants out! Not good!!!

It got me to thinking.... because I have packed a short, strapless, comfy sundress for labour! I wanted something I could easily pop down for skin to skin and something with easy access down below that doesn't involve me being naked from the waist down for hours on end. But now I have the added problem of the monitors to think about! Agh!

I really want to be comfortable but also to feel like me, you know? I DO NOT want to be naked... which will happen if I wear pj bottoms or yoga pants because, well, the baby's gotta get out!!

What did you wear?? Any advice?

ps - all looked okay. I'm being monitored again tomorrow morning and Friday morning and seeing my OB Monday to discuss everything.
