I am having my second c-section in a little over a month. I'm curious what comfortable clothing everyone wore?
Last time I looked like a mess and was not prepared. This time, I'd like to order some stuff and be ready. Links would be great!

I wore gowns (not hospital gowns, nice and comfy cotton night gowns) and a robe for when I left my room. I brought pants with elastic and soft waists but ended up not wanting anything touching my incision (which I'm sure was more mental than physical).

I wore yoga pants and a nursing tank top.
ETA: oh- and the belly binder from the hospital.

I had a gown for the 1st day so it would be easier to check me and change pads. But once I could move and walk around, I preferred full panel maternity pants like yoga pants. I liked having something feel secure holding my incision site

men's PJs and a matching robe; drawstring pants from j crew; maternity yoga pants to go home in... and a belly binder at all times!

@ladybee: I second the old navy maternity leggings/yoga pants! They're super comfortable!! At the hospital I wore some soft loose pj pants and top (with buttons for easier nursing). I found that my second c-section was way better in terms of recovery. I wasn't anywhere near as bloated/swollen and I was walking much quicker.
Congrats!!!

@Mamasig: Do you think full panel leggings would work the same?
@OhCaptain: @Blueberry: why am I not seeing full panel yoga pants on their site?

@ladybee: I bought mine in store and I didn't find them on a rack. They were in a package by the maternity accessories (belts, etc).

@Blueberry: We don't have a store that sells them here. I just ordered these because they had good reviews and people said they folded the band over their belly to make them full panel.

Once they took the catheter out I wore yoga pants (maternity and regular) and tanks over a Lamaze nursing sleep bra, with a robe when I left the room or had company. Home has been pretty much the same.

@ladybee: yeah. They aren't full panel, just the fold which I liked becasue it was nice and loose on my belly.

In hospital I wore a zip up duster robe - easy to unzip for nursing and loose with pockets to keep my lip balm and nipple cream. When I wore my binder I also wore maternity yoga pants over it - Old Navy. When I was running back and forth between NICU and when I went home I wore the yoga pants with nursing tanks and my husbands big zip
Up hoodie.

@ladybee: yes. I just liked having something holding me in place, especially with the big pads and stuff.

@ladybee: I can't speak to having a c section, but I have those leggings and really liked them! I sometimes wore them up over my belly, mostly folded down. They are nice and thick and more like actual yoga pants than like tights. Haven't tried them on post baby but they were comfy up to 40 weeks.

@ladybee: I have that old navy kind. They worked great. The band wasn't a panel but definitely snug with some give - not too tight.

I wore the hospital gown while I was there and mostly lived in old navy maternity leggings for weeks after I got home. My C-section was unplanned after 3 hours of pushing and I was completely unprepared for it.

I wore the hospital underwear (well after at home too) and j got a nightgown and matching robe at TJ Maxx that I wore nonstop. Similar to this:

I wore maternity yoga pants home and that was a mistake. The top seam on the pants hit exactly on my incision and was so uncomfortable. I wish I had worn a dress or really high waisted leggings maybe.
