It depends on how old the LOs are. If they are a little older, I try not to intervene.
If Charlie pushes someone, I warn him that if he does it again he will get a timeout and then I get down to his eye level and encourage them to share.
If someone pushes Charlie, I give them their parents the evil eye. If that doesn't work, then I get between Charlie and the Evil Child and do my best to break up the situation. If it happens repeatedly and the other parent does nothing, then I wouldn't make another playdate.
