Besides playing together on the floor, I like to have dance parties with her where I'll put on some music and dance her around. I also read to her a lot and let her have some independent play time in her pack and play.

You could get some blocks and build things for her, or just use plastic cups/boxes. Crawling over and knocking down a tower Mom built was a big hit at that stage, and I feel like it sets them up nicely for building later on. Also, LO's obsession with balls started around then. We just rolled them across the floor at that point.

Our fave toys right now are wooden blocks, a shape sorter, his books (loves to pull them off the shelf), and any ball. We kind of go from toy to toy, and I also just follow him around the apartment as he explores and I kind of narrate what he's doing. I also agree with tupperware and utensils (like spatulas and wooden spoons). He loves that stuff! He's also at the age where he likes to put things in and take them out of boxes, so big cardboard boxes are a hit.
