I'm going to assume my 5.5 month old is teething whenever he randomly wakes up in the middle of the night crying that is not his usual feeding time. This has been going on for the past week. I usually try to wait a couple of minutes before picking him up just in case he stops on his own, but it's hard when we're sleeping in the same room! Whenever I do pick him up, it takes him 5 minutes to calm down, and then when I put him back, it takes him another 5 minutes calm down enough to eventually fall asleep. What do you do when your LO wakes up due to teething? Do you do anything to help with the pain? Or does your LO usually fall back asleep peacefully?

I give her some Boiron Camilia teething relief (all natural) and nurse her.... the Boiron works AHHHmazing and doesn't take long to work.
If she has wakings more than a couple nights in a row I check the wonder weeks, it's usually the culprit. I still nurse & rock P when she wakes up (we're non-CIO)

Tylenol and rock him back to sleep. I have to make sure he's sleeping good or he screams again.

My LO has been teething since 4 1/2 months (already has 2 teeth that have come through). He's had some really rough nights where teething tabs and/or Tylenol haven't helped, and he's still waking quite frequently. During those times I nurse him back to sleep because it's quick, it works, and it allows DH and I to get some sleep as well.

We relied heavily on Tylenol (I had two early teethers at 3.5 months) but now we're using Boiron Camilia as well and I think it's working great!

A dose of Tylenol (or Motrin if its really bad) and rock back to sleep. I've never heard of Boiron Camilia, but I'm going to look into it!
