I find that I need to be doing something while nursing and most often, it is reading on my phone or ipad. I wish that I could just enjoy the quiet and concentrate on my little guy but I use it as a time to read and catch up online. I wish I could disconnect more.
What do you "do" while nursing?

When she used to take forever to nurse in the early months I would always read blogs on my phone. Now that she only nurses for a few minutes I take those few minutes to just be quiet with her

He still wants to nurse constantly (at least during the day) and almost always falls asleep, so I watch something on Netflix (usually Doctor Who) and/or surf the web. My laptop is within arms reach and we use a Boppy.

Now that she's a toddler, we usually snuggled up on the couch or on her floorbed and I have a bit of a rest. It's so heavenly.

For the first few months I was always online or watching tv. Only once he got older I started just focusing on LO.

Watch tv or surf the web on my phone if it's night time. It's frustrating reading hellobee like this, though, because I have to constantly resize to fit the screen and that's difficult to do one handed!

These days DS nurses for 5 min max so I dont have time for much anymore. He's going on 5 months and nursing is the last thing on his mind, he is way too interested in what's going on around him to lie still and eat for long

I'm usually on my phone, but do take time to just enjoy her. They grow so quick I want to appreciate every minute!

@Chastenet: I know, that's frustrating on my phone too. Also, it is sometimes hard to reply unless I have the right position where I can type with both hands.

When I was nursing, I would HB, check my email, Internet shopping, read other blogs, or watch tv.

I usually read HB, Facebook or instagram lol. Or I respond to emails on my phone but that's harder because it requires more concentration

In DS' first weeks of life I watched the entire netflix collections of DC Cupcake and Cake Boss. Now that I'm back and work and nursing is less frequent due to my being away during the day I try to focus on my little guy.
