I haven't been hungover in over a year, so nice.... But when I am I ate carbs and drank smart water and Gatorade.

McDonalds here! Although, right now, the thought of that is making me feel sick.
@blackbird: Vom! Bleugh!

@Cherrybee: @Mamaof2: @Smurfette: we stopped for McDonald's on our way home last night so I'm over it. I think I need Bibimbap. Eggs and rice are my go-to usually.

In our circle of friends, it's given we're going to eat pho the next day. lol

@mediagirl: I have a tried and true remedy but it doesn't work until 3pm the next day so you just have to suffer until then. Steamed pork dumplings, fried rice, and NON-diet (this is very important) Pepsi (cannot be Coke).

I go one of 2 ways. . .either total grease or a big salad. And as much water as I can drink.
But the diet coke from McDonalds helps too!

@blackbird: Same! My go-to is egg and cheese bagel or muffin. YUM. The ultimate cure for me was this bagel shop in my college town - fried egg and cheese on a bagel with a BIG orange juice. Worked every time.

Definitely McDonald's breakfast... all the hashbrowns. Depending on severity, sometimes it's just Gatorade and toast. Lol.

Last time Gatorade and chili cheese fries... I also happened to have Dramamine on my purse (I was traveling) so I took one. It really helped!

Something greasy! Hashbrowns from Waffle House are my first choice.

I don't get hangovers. BUT. There's nothing like another cocktail (Moscow Mule FTW) in the morning to round out a night of drinking! (You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!)

Depends on the severity... Tex Mex usually cures everything or some eggs with cheese and salsa.
I typically avoid hangovers by taking some 5 hr energy when I start drinking and then take 2 advil + drink a protein shake before bed

The McDonalds comments cracks me up, its' our go to hungover food too! A huge fountain diet dr. pepper and a greasy cheeseburger meal! It's really the only time we eat it unless DD begs or it.

@mediagirl: LOL
I haven't been in FOREVER, but I used to go for greasy fast food breakfast foods like hashbrowns.

Gatorade and BTB burritos or Fat sandwiches. Although it's been ages since I was hungover. (Like almost 4 years)
persimmon / 1436 posts
McDonald's is not doing enough advertising to promote their foods' magical hangover curing.

I was initially thinking In N Out but when you said eggs and rice I immediately thought of a breakfast from my childhood: spam, Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice. If I had easy access to that I would definitely choose that!

I could never do the greasy thing when hung over. I would puke immediately. I huge purple gatorade, sipped slowly and bland food. Think stomach bug. But my hangovers were always puke-fests, not just headache.

I haven't been hungover in over 4 years (!!!!!!!) but I am pretty sure that greasy burgers and fries with lots of soda does the trick.
pear / 1586 posts
Anything greasy - McDonald's, Cookout (local fast food chain), or any kind of breakfast biscuit (Bojangles or a local breakfast place usually hit the spot). Also, lemon-lime gatorade and fountain diet coke.
