Yuck! I'm sorry!! what is wrong with people?!

OMG how rude of her! I would have been so livid, too (but then again I peed my pants from "telling myself a funny joke" (holy crazy hormones) in the parking lot before I could get in the house, lol...so that would have been awkward!)

Creepy! It's like she was just waiting around for you! Ick. How rude.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Geez...this is why I was so glad I lived (temporarily) in a different state when I had E. Zero visitors, and I was really okay with that. Does that woman not have kids? How the eff do people forget that fast?

Glad you told her to back off! So weird! I would have freaked if anyone showed up while I was practically limping to the door right after being discharged. Let alone a random neighbor!

Aside from the pushy obnoxious part, who on earth bombards a family bringing their baby home for the first time? That is so clearly special family time. This just baffles me. Good for you for standing up to her! This is ridiculous.

I had something similar happen when we got home with M! A neighbor lady, who I didn't even KNOW asked if she could come inside and cook for us, like 10 minutes after we got home with M. DH told her no, we just got home from hospital and we have family that can help us, and she asked to come in and see the baby. She said she had noticed I was pregnant and was hoping to help and see the baby. DH firmly said no and had to block her from letting herself in the house. It was sooo bizarre!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I have a similar story. Two days after we got home I got really sick and my husband decided to call an ambulance. It was overkill but he was really scared! Well the paramedics get there and take me out of my bedroom and there's my neighbor standing in my living room asking how she can help. WTF? I was like 'get out!'

I also have an intrusive neighbour. One day A was screaming (not like him!) when he was about 8 weeks old. She comes over and rings the doorbell, our dogs go insane, she tells DH she heard him crying and hoped it wasn't her that woke him up?!??? DH was like UHHHH no. Thanks. Bye.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I know! Our relationship was always a little iffy after that! When we moved I don't think we even told them! Not out of spite, I just kinda dreaded talking to her after that.
