Mirrors, and stainless steel appliances?
I use microfiber and rotate between a few brands of natural cleaners but I still see streaks! I thought micro fiber cloths don't leave streaks!

For glass I just use the natural kind at target... method I think? I don't know it is blue and smells like spearmint haha. And paper towels. I guess there are streaks but I'm not that fussy. For stainless steal we have some sort of remoistened wipes we got at bed bath and beyond... they smell like oranges (wow I'm really awesome with names eh?). Probably all chemically but they get the job done.

@Mae: haha you just know how they smell! I feel like I know what you're talking about... (I go to BBB too much...)

I use microfiber cloths and the most natural products I can find. I don't have streaking problems.

DH swears by Windex and newspaper.....a trick he learned in the car wash business in high school....

I'm about to change your life.
Best window cleaner ever:
1/4 c. rubbing alcohol
1/4 c. white vinegar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 c. warm water
H/T Crunchy Betty. Use a coffee filter - it won't leave fibers behind.
Cleanest windows ever. Until your toddler smears his fingers all over them one hour later and you don't wash them again for months.
For stainless steal I use olive oil.

@jedeve: Coffee filter! Olive oil! The best thing is I have all these in my house! I'm gonna try!
@lamariniere: Ugh I don't know why I can see my wipe patterns all over my stainless steel stuff!
@FaithFertility: Hahaha DH says to use newspaper too lol! The problem is.. We don't have any lol and I have to wait to get the local circulars!
@Ocean girl: Hmm I will do that... Maybe it's cause I wipe in random ways!

@FaithFertility: I second this!
Newspaper and windex works wonderfully. Just make sure to wear gloves or your hands will turn black!

I have a bottle of Honest Multi Surface spray and I used it on my mirror and it worked really well. I used a paper towel to wipe. I was super surprised!

@FaithFertility: @Shizaz: I've never had luck with newspaper, it always leaves lint/fuzz all over my windows and mirrors. Of course, I don't have good luck with paper towels or microfiber cloth either, so my windows just look dirty. Sigh.

@PurplePeony: Right! This is me! I feel like no matter what I do I don't achieve the completely clean/streakless shine!

To clean our glass, we use Sprayway glass cleaner and a paper towel.
To clean our stainless steel, we use Sprayway stainless cleaner and a rag made out of an old t-shirt. For some reason, that's the only thing that doesn't leave streaks.

Sheila Shine does a great job on our appliances. It's kind of hard to find so I order on Amazon. A little goes a very long way though, so you won't run out often. Don't accidentally get it on hardwood floors though; it makes them very slippery!

I spray with a fine mist of water and then use a Norwex glass polishing cloth. Works better than any cleaner I have tried!

for glass I use CR Laurence glass cleaner. its the best I've ever used, on glass and also for benchtops and general dusting (I work in the glass trade, we retail this product and it sells like crazy)

@snowjewelz: I heard also coffee filters are good for being lint free.
