With my first LO, I had images of babywearing all the time. I had soft carriers, wraps etc. and none of them worked for us because no matter what I tried, my LO hated it. I even went to BWI meetings and meetups and couldn't get him to like it. He's such a pain.

Cuddling, pacifiers.

@DesertDreams88: ugh my first was not cuddly at all and that is why he didn't like being worn. It made me so sad. But my second is a cuddler so at least I got one!!

The bassinet on the stroller. I was adamant that it was better for her and we had to have a stroller with a flat bassinet. She HATED it and the stroller until I started clicking the car seat into it.
Luckily both babies love/loved baby wearing, and cuddling.

Fruit. The only fruit she'll eat bananas and cooked apples and that is it. Makes healthy snacks difficult!

Mac n cheese and pasta. I just don't get it, he's missing out on amazing stuff!

OK, I wish he liked asparagus, bolognese, tomatoes, anything with sauce, root vegetables (eg. zucchini, squash, bell pepper ...etc)

Doing art projects the way they're "supposed" to be done. I dreamed of setting up all sorts of pinterest-worthy projects for DD1....at 4, she's not interested in trying new techniques or trying to make her project "look" like an example. She just wants to smear paint, glue, and glitter around with her hands. DD2 is somewhat interested, but if she sees her big sis going nuts, it's lights out.

@lilyann: my LO won't eat pizza either! She loves cheese. Likes red sauce. Likes carbs. But pizza, no. Generally she just doesn't like melted cheese as much as cold. Missing out, kid.

I thought I was sad that my kids don't co-sleep well at all, but really I think it's me that's a bad co-sleeper, and I think it's a blessing in disguise. My older son (2) didn't like cuddling except during nursing, but he's gotten more cuddly recently. He still wants a bottle while we "tuddle," so I guess I wish he'd cuddle with me without nursing or having a bottle.

sleeping? Preferably sleeping in past 6am. Even just once in a while a 730 wake up would be nice. That's for my oldest.
For my youngest, I wish she liked entertaining herself. Just even for like 10 minutes.

Nap routines. I tried with LO1 and tried with all my might with LO2. Neither napped consistently until they started walking at 15 months.
At 3.5 I wish LO1 liked the outdoors more.

Movies. Now that my kids are a bit older, I would love to do a movie night, but there are only two movies they will watch.

Nursing in any way shape or form. She became such a distracted nurser that at home, I could only do it laying down on the bed, and we couldn't really nurse in public.

Any music other than the Frozen soundtrack and that one Shakira song from Zootopia (seriously, it's been like a full year of only that in the car).

My LO doesn't like chicken in any form (not even nuggets from McDonald's or Chick-fil-A) and she doesn't like french fries. I guess these are good things but it does make traveling a PITA! It's so hard to find fast food places with options for her.

Food and eating. I end a lot of meal times feeling beat down or worrying about her weight and nutritional intake.

@catlady: we listen to the "let it go" station on Pandora constantly. And I've told her about 6000 times that I don't control what song comes on next, and still every ten minute car ride includes about 40 requests to put the Anna and Elsa song on. Then when one comes on she tells me not to sing.

I wish she liked letting me dress her. She hates jeans, anything structured, leggings, tights, oh but today's Friday so she will wear leggings...ugh. And I wish she would let me do her hair in piggies.
