Suburb of Dallas. Infant care is 959 a month. Full time. Includes diapers, wipes, formula, pureed, and solid meals and snacks.

We live in suburbs of LA. Now that she's potty trained and in the 2-3 year room, we pay $720/month ($180/wk). We pack our own lunch, but milk and snacks are provided. This is for full time care 5 days/week. You can drop them off as early as 6:30 am and pickup as late as 6:30 pm. The flexibility is great.

$250/week for in-home for an infant (there is a daycare that is $150/week but it's sketch) Food included when she is a toddler. Suburb in the midwest. The daycare center we could have gone with was $212/week. None of this includes formula, diaper, wipes, etc. The Goddard School i priced out was $1700/month. lolzno.

SW Ontario, we pay by the day, usually 4 days/week and so it work out to $400/month. She is 18 months, but has been going there since 12 months. In home daycare, we send our own food and diapers.

I live in a suburb east of Toronto and we pay approx $812-$1015 a month on a rate of $203/week. DD is 2 years old. This includes 5 full days, snacks, lunch, wipes (we provide diapers).

When DD turns 2.5 (30 months), the price drops to $198/week.

We pay $5/hour or weekly. In a normal week we send her from 9-4:30, 4 days a week. This ends up costing $155/week, or about $700 for a month. We live in the Bay Area and this is the cheapest that we found. She provides some of the food, will provide all when LO is 1. We provide some of the food, wipes, diapers, formula.

Our center in downtown Toronto (if we get off the wait list and our nanny share doesn't work out) will be $1960/ month full time infant care. Includes meals and diapers.

@smurfette, ugh why are they all over the place price-wise! It is $1500/month for the Goddard school for a toddler! And not even in a really nice/expensive area of town!

@blackbird: I guess cause they are independently owned? The only difference I saw between the ones I saw was the area and the $400 a month difference. But for $4800 more a year, girlfriend can take a ride with Mom eery day.

@oliviaoblivia: us too! Ours will be $1900 a month for infant in toronto, unless we can get in the one we're wait listed for - it's $1650 or something,

I'm not going back to work, but had priced out a few centers in my area before deciding. There is one nearby that has a huge waiting list and we really probably would not have gotten into, which was $1600 a month. That's the cheap one. The only place we could have gotten in is $2700 for 5 days a week! We are in Boston. I didn't realize what a big difference there is for suburbs vs in city day care! It's insane-- but made the decision to stay home easier, since financially it was practically a wash.

Florida - Nice centers are about $900/month for infants (full time). There are some cheaper ones but they aren't nearly as nice for closer to $600-700.

LO is 2 and in Early Preschool 1 (EP1) which is a 2-2.5 yo room.

We pay $260/ week (includes some additional charges). The base rate is $245/week, breakfast is $2/day and a weekly fitness class is $5. The fitness class is quasi-elective (everyone does it) and breakfast is purely elective. We earn 1 free week every year (essentially we pay for 51 weeks). This comes out to be just over $1100 per month. Lunch and three snacks are included. We cannot provide our own food.

We also pay activity/supply fees three times a year. The current supply fee is $75/semester (3 semesters - fall, spring, summer).

Lastly, there is also a tumbling program that is considered an outside vendor that visits the daycare each week. This is a seperate payment but happens at the daycare location. This is approximately $8/week, $32/month.

This is for a Primrose school in the DFW area.

@Mrs. Wagon: Why do you only get invoiced for 43 weeks? Do your kiddos spend 2 months outside of daycare? Or is this some sort of pre-pay discount? I'm curious Our daycare doesn't offer any pre-pay discounts.

@Foodnerd81: Bright Horizons in the suburbs on Boston is also $2400/month for full-time! Ours is $82/day for 4 days/week, so if it were 5 would probably be $1600 like the one near you.

@MamaG: the 2 months of summer are a different program, so we get invoiced for those separately. For the summer you can pick and choose which weeks you want.

We use a nanny but had looked at in home daycare for $65-80/day. We are in a suburb of Boston.
