Trumpettes went from way too big to way too small!!
What does your infant girl wear on her feet during the winter? I got a pair of 6-9 month bootie boots (kind of like fake uggs) but couldn't get her feet into them... they're long enough but her feet are so chubby that I couldn't get them past the ankle part!

If we're at home, I just keep her in footed outfits as much as possible. When going out, we have socks.
Have you tried toddler socks? They'll be really big, but you could cuff them.

just socks! but she's in the bundleme. i took the bundleme out too wash the other day and put boots on her, she has a pair from target (carter's!) and a pair from children's place.
eta - she wears old navy socks!

I should add... no socks stay on!!! No shoes stay on really, either. Her feet are super chubby AND they seem to have a high arch and her toes are always curled.

LO wear Trumpette socks and goes to/from daycare in a bundleme, but she also has these boots:

(at daycare she just wears socks. Honestly, I've got no idea when I'm suppose to start putting shoes on her?!)
ETA: my LO has wide/chubby feet too.

I have the same problem with finding something that will stay on DD's feet. I just have her wear footed jumpers at home and tights when we go out. Try tights with socks! The socks stay put because they hug onto the tights!

i have a similar problem with baby boy, and i use a combination of old navy triple roll socks (currently wearing size 6-12 month....and been in those since DS was 3-4 months!) and robeez. the robeez help keep the socks on and i think the leather keeps his little toes warm

@mrs. wagon: are the trumpettes cutting off the circulation on her chub legs? That's what has started happening with M. I bought a couple of pairs of warm tights and just send her to daycare in play dresses, onesies and tights.

We use socks, or some knit booties we got at Babies R Us. Kinda like these http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=16977426 but cable knit with a soft lining.

check out Zutano booties! they come in fleece and cotton and a variety of sizes and colors. they have snaps so they never come off, and there are two snaps so they are adjustable to their leg width. I love love love them.

Not sure if you would be able to find them here, but I put them over her regular socks - they help her socks stay on AND keep her feet warmer.

@MungBean: I have those same socks for my son! They're AWESOME!! They're super comfy, don't slip off, and have rubbery grips on the bottom. I bought them in Koreatown (i'm in LA).

Socks... or when we're going out in the cold I prefer tights b/c then I know her legs won't be exposed at all.

Socks, and occasionally cute boots that she never keeps on her feet. When we are home we are always in footed sleepers since she tends to kick off socks too!

ZUTANO booties like MerryC suggested. I have one pair and LO wears them constantly. They are the only shoe I've found that will stay on. If I don't have them on her, her socks won't stay on either. This is a must-have winter item in my opinion.

Canadian winters = need more than just socks. I've heard wonderful things about Jack and Lily boots, though the cheapie ones I got from Joe Fresh still work great. They velcro up the inside and stay on well. E isn't chubby though so I don't know if they would work for LMW.

P wears alot of tights with triple roll socks over them. Thick enough to keep her toesies warm & the tights keep the socks on really well!!! She's got the chubby foot, curled toes too so getting shoes on is a pain!
