Well we had our first flurries today here in the Midwest and I realized i'm vastly unprepared for snow for my girls! They each have a knitted hat (homemade) but they are not good for snow! what do your kids have for hats/gloves this year?

We picked up a beanie with ear flaps for DD from north face on Sunday. It's super warm and cozy and she loves it.
DS doesn't like wearing hats so nothing for him yet.

She wore a fleece and knit hat from H&M all last winter (had ear flaps and a tie). I got some pretty cheap water proof mittens on Amazon for snow bee had so much snow and she was only a year and a half old, so she couldn't really play in it much (it was way over her head). But we went "sledding" a few times and she was plenty warm.

She loathes every hat. I have a giant Patagonia merino beanie and she asked to wear it- I simply cuffed it up and she loves it! It is hers now! I believe it is called the powder town. No gloves yet...

Fleece hats, cloth gloves with grippy palms, and waterproof thinsulate mittens all from H&M for DS. DD has fleece hat and mittens from Old Navy.

Fleece hat with ear flaps that ties under the chin for DD. She also has a few scarves and will wear everything.
DS has a balaclava and a regular knit hat and wears both of them. It hasn't been cold enough for him to wear a scarf.
They both have waterproof insulated gloves, but we haven't needed those yet either.

I just got a cute hat and fingerless gloves with the mitten flap for dd at target. Not really for snow play but just cold weather. Need to pick up a few waterproof things!

A knitted hat but I put the hood from her snowsuit over it. For mittens she has a pair of Stonz...they are the BEST and worth every penny
