I just heard "Hey!" from the other room, guess that means nap time is over 
Sometimes he says, "All done!" I'm so happy that he has stopped crying/fussing when he wakes up!
PS- Maybe I can teach him, "Hey girl" ?

It depends. Sometimes it's just a "hi!" or "mommy!" or "lizzie!" (our dog) but then other days she'll come out with something like, "Mama choo choo?" because going on the train with her grandma is her favorite thing ever. Or the other day she said, "Daddy at work?" And she often says, "pee pee in there."

he is still in his crying phase. only occasionally will he babble when he wakes up.

we usually hear him cracking himself up. or just random babbling. and an occasional cry.

Mine doesn't say anything to me. I hear him playing and talking to himself on the monitor. He doesn't even cry. I have to go in there and say "goood moooorning!" and open his curtains and say "hello!!!" and he just laughs, this laugh with morning face and crusty eyes haha

My three year old, "mama lets go downstairs and get breakfast"
My 17 month old gives me bones and says "bones" (fist bump) as soon as I walk in the room. She's hilarious!

Mommy, help! (Fastest response and she knows it)
And sometimes...Mommy, I'm wet!
