I forget the exact model #, but we have an Animal. I got it 5-6 years ago and it still works great!
I'm thinking about getting a hand vac or a cordless Dyson too.. Tired of getting on my hands and knees to sweep up crumbs and puffs!

We have the the dc35. it is awesome. dh got it when i was pregnant because with 4 dogs and a cat we build up a looot of pet hair that needs to be vacuumed regularly. lugging out our big vacuum every time was just too much.

We have the hand vac (I forget the number, but it's orange). DH is obsessed with it. He uses it all the time (including when I am trying to get LO to sleep in the same room).
We are trying to decide on a regular vacuum and will probably get a Dyson again. @chopsuey: Do you think the Animal is better than a regular one? We have a dog that sheds a moderate amount.

@Foodnerd81: I've never owned a regular.. I had a pomeranian and the Animal worked really well for me!

We have an animal, think it's called the DC41. I wish it had a retractable cord but aside from that, it's great! I love bagless vacuums!
