I ran out of my awesome face moisturizer and since I can only order it online, I was wondering what everyone else uses. I am a Kiehl's user but am willing to try anything - my face is so dry right now!

Aveeno calming, but I'd like to switch because I've found out some unsettling stuff about the company. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations!

i'm using creme de la mer right now out of desperation b/c my skin was getting so bad, and it is helping. but i need to find something else b/c i can't afford la mer on a regular basis. maybe the kiehls would be good!

I use Clinique. It comes in a light greenish jar but I don't know what it's called. I just like it because it feels light and doesn't leave a greasiness behind. It's pretty heavy-duty, though, and can totally combat my super dry winter skin.

Phytomer hydracontinue! Love love love - been using for about 3 years (started taking care of my skin pre-wedding and never stopped). There is a tub version, which is thicker - I use in the winter- and a tube version which is thinner - I use in the summer. It's not greasy, is moisturizing, and I always feel fresh.

I would love to use Creme de la Mer but I can't believe the prices nowadays. It just keeps going up and up! So I get that every once in awhile but my every day one now is Remede's Alchemy.

I use Boscia. I love it because it's natural. It even has an expiration date on it.

Khiels ultra facial cream. It's done an awesome job of making my winter skin soft and smooth.

I recently started using Simple light moisturizer. I had used it before in england so was glad to see it introduced here in america.

Eucerin sensitive... I've tried so many and it's the only thing that doesn't make my face break out. It's great in the winter and summer.

I used Laura Mercier during the day -- Mega moisture. Super light, no scent and not oily.
Lately I haven't been wearing anything at night. So bad! But I use Shiseido, Mary Kay, whatever's lying around.

I use Cetaphil's Moisturizing Lotion or if I am super dry I use the moisturizing cream. Once I switched to it (I used to use Clinque's skin care line) I stopped having as many breakouts and irritations.

@mrskc: they are owned by johnson and johnson and don't get the best ratings for toxicity

I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer during the day along w/ California Baby sunblock. At night I use Shu Uemura, I switch between their thinner lotion and thicker cream depending on how dry my skin is.

I use Aveeno Radiant during the day and Yu-Be at night. I've heard people compare Yu-Be to LaMer in terms of moisturizing, but I've never tried LaMer myself and can't confirm that.
I may start looking for a new daytime moisturizer, though, based on what @mrs. tictactoe says...

@mrs. tictactoe: ugh. I use Aveeno radiant too. And I don't use Johnson and Johnson because their baby products are so harsh and you have to wonder if it is so they will sell all their other products to "fix" baby's skin.
Guess I am after a new moisturiser.

Anyone recommend a not too pricey day moisturiser that contains sunscreen?

@cupcakemama: do you have laroche posay brand? I think you're in the UK, they have a moisturizer with mexoryl that also combats wrinkles. Not sure if that's safe for pregnancy though.
I use Clinique moisture surge, the gel cream and the spray when I am extra dry.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation is my splurge. Clean & Clear finishes mattifying moisturizer is my bargain grab.

@hilsy85: that's the stuff I use. I absolutely love it but it is so expensive!! I'm hoping to get something more reasonable, use that up and then go back to it again in a few months.
I've tried Clinique's products but they make me breakout, which is really weird. I might go for Nivia or Aveeno and ignore whatever news is out there....

I use Bobbi Brown moisturizer w/ sunscreen. It's fairly expensive, but my mom usually buys it for me as a gift for random holidays.

I've tried a lot of different creams, but Kiehl's ultra facial moisturizer is by far the best. DH uses it too!

I've tried it all (probably my favorites in the past have been Kiehl's and Clinique) but right now I'm using Shiseido The Skincare. Before that I was using stuff I bought at Costco by Borghese, which I LOVED, but they stopped carrying it. Shortly after I invested in the Shiseido, they came out with a new line at Costco! Gah! So once I'm done with the Shiseido (which is great, by the way) I will go back to the Borghese because it's so much cheaper.

Ditto @hilsy85--I also use Kiehls facial cream in the evenings. In the mornings I use Olay sensitive skin moisturizer with SPF15.
squash / 13764 posts
@keiki_mama: I have that one as well! I use that more during the summer/warmer months, since I find that it's not as moisturizing as the Keihls.

I use the aveeno positively radiant SPF 30 in the day and the Clinique moisture surge gel cream at night.

I use the combination version from pink papaya. Its amazing! But you can only order through a consultant.
