Furniture in all rooms or just areas your LO frequents? I know it's bad but we don't have all anchored that we should, but it's my next project. We don't have too much that needs to be, but there are a couple of things that should be. I was thinking of this last night, DH was building their pretend washer and dryer for Christmas and it came with an anchor, I thought that was great!

We only anchored her dresser to the wall.

Only LOs dresser. Our dressers aren't anchored and we don't have anything else in the house except her play kitchen (not anchored). TV is mounted.

TV and a buffet in the living room. Her dresser is not, but it is a huge old sturdy dresser (took 2 men to move it up the stairs.)
She has a 9 cubby shelf in her room, does anyone have that anchored? I didn't think about it until now.

oh dear, only a very few things! our tv/media unit, which is 4 separate pieces of furniture attached together and then anchored to the wall, and a book shelf in lo's room.

We don't have anything anchored. Maybe I should? It seems counterproductive to me, though, because our furniture is pretty light and we move our furniture around a lot. I do want to anchor our two tall bookshelves, though, because they make me nervous.

We anchored every piece of funiture in the house - our dressers, his dresser, TV, any "cubbies". To me, it's not that difficult and not worth taking chances!

Just her dresser, and we only did it when she started pulling drawers out and climbing up.

Um...nothing. There are a few bookshelves that we probably should anchor, but we plan to paint and move furniture eventually so we haven't wanted to make stuff so permanent.

We have all of our dressers anchored after a major scare. If my husband wasn't standing next to my son to catch the dresser it would have fallen on top of him and I don't even want to think of what would have happened. After that scared us to death my husband went out immediately and bought anchors. We don't have any other large pieces of furniture,however, we did remove 2 smaller accent tables and put in our basement until our children are older just to be safe.

Our tall bookshelf in the living room and that's it - eek! I'd like to do some other pieces, but at this point I think we'll wait until we move.

We anchored the dresser and bookshelf in his room; the Expedit bookshelf in our playroom; and the TV stand/TV in our living room.

In our apartment we anchored the TV, change table, chests of drawers and sideboard. The only set of drawers that wasn't anchored, she nearly pulled onto herself!!! Nothing is anchored down at the ILs but we are working on changing that.

We mounted our TV a long time ago. Recently we anchored her change table after she climbed the drawers and got on top of it. We don't have much else that needs to be anchored.

Only the fridge is anchored.

Right now nothing. She isn't crawling yet. But we bought the anchors and need to get this done. I plan to anchor our bookshelves in our office, even though she never goes in there, because of course she'll get into that room someday. I don't know what else we'll do, since we don't have any dressers in the house. Maybe our nightstands and possibly an end table. Our TV is already wall-mounted.

Everything that could fall on my kids, or that they could pull on thmseves. Dressers and bookshelves especially. I read a terrible, excruciating story of a mother who lost her daughter, around age 3 I believe, when the dresser fell on her, when she opened some drawers, as dressers sometimes do when you open many drawers at once. I have anchored mostly everything that could pose a threat.

Our tall bookshelves are anchored to the wall, but nothing else. I need to fix that. I have the hardware to do it but I haven't yet.

We had professional baby proofers come to our apartment (DH just isn't handy and I didn't want to think about it). They anchored the following:
- tv strap to the stand (living room)
- toy bins in LR (the land of nod ones in case he climbs)
- his dresser
- his book shelfThey did not babyproof our bedroom, the guest room or the bathrooms at all. They said its best to just keep him out of those rooms unless we are right there with him and fully attentive.
