Great...after reading this thread again I looked at my candy and realized the bags are something like 40% Butterfingers! (Which I personally hate, being allergic to peanuts)

So i like a lot of the candy on this list, ha (good and plenties, i'm looking at you). I love those stupid candy pumpkins, too!
I hated:
-Snickers (i know, i know. i hate peanuts+chocolate)
-popcorn balls
-hard candy (no, i don't want cinnamon candy. gross)
-smarties
-dots
-Now and laters
-candy buttons. HATE THOSE.
-plain milk chocolate (kit kats are ok, hershey's bars are NOT)
-chocolate gold coinsbut i love candy corn, licorice candy, swedish fish, peppermint patties, kit kats, crunch, anything dark chocolate....

@mrsjyw: me too!!! my mom loved them and would take all of them. I also hated Dots...those are my husband's favorites.

Tootsie rolls. My mum was happy to take them off my hands, though.

I'm not sure if this is just a Canadian thing, but Eat-Mores. They're like weird almost sour chocolate fudge taffy with ground up peanuts in it.

I hated Butterfingers, Mounds, Bits o Honey, Candy corns, and Good & Plenty (if they even make that one anymore Blech)
My brother ended up giving me all of the candy with nuts (because of his nut allergy) and I had to give him all of my faves
Kit Kats, Milky Ways, and Crunch Bars. -

@blackbird: OMG those candy buttons are awful. I can't even describe the taste. They're like bitter sugar...but how can sugar be bitter?
I like most of the other stuff mentioned though, except I'm not big on coconut or black licorice.

I hate candy corn though. I especially don't like them because they're usually not wrapped. Which is so gross!

I'm so picky there are only a few I like!
Twix, Kitkat, Nerds, M&Ms, Whoppers and Skittles -
I hated smarties, bubblegum, and those weird wax bottles with the juice inside! Someone in our neighborhood used to always give them out!

@banana: I'm not sure it was meant to be sour. I really think a lot of the time they were old and the peanuts had gone a little rancid. Probably because nobody likes them so they sat on the shelf for years before somebody bought them on clearance and decided to spring them on innocent children. Haha. So nasty. I think they must be discontinued now though. Haven't seen one in years.
