We provide drinks and snacks... sliced fruit/veggies, cheese and cured meats!! Our friends are pretty generous with food, so it feels nice to reciprocate!

Usually we plan around meal times and will either decide to go out to lunch after or have lunch at home, and ask what the kids and adults like to eat. Play dates always go longer then expected for us so food is always a must.

Usually drinks and snacks. We plan for 1.5-2 hours.

They don't get the other plates though, those are for the adults!

Most times they've brought their own snacks but I still put some out at some point for at least the adults. Ours usually are around 2 hours.

Thanks everyone! I've never had or been to a playdate before. Hoping to have some in the spring when the house is more buttoned up!

I have only had a few, mostly with my sister and some with a friend from church. We usually just do lunch together, then play for a little bit. Then either let both babies take their afternoon naps and us moms hang for a bit, or we leave at that point to get baby home for nap

If it's a friend we usually plan it around a meal and either order takeout or go out for lunch / dinner. If it's someone we're not that close to, we'll plan for about an hour or two and we usually get some snacks together like cheese/crackers, popcorn, etc.
