I had no idea what I was missing before I became a mom. I mean, I had loads of fun but nothing like this! J is my greatest joy. I am happier than I've ever been with him.

I would say right now and the last year. Our family is in a great place, I'm in a happy place (even without a love for my job), and my husband and I are so insync with our future, that we get excited thinking about it. Our daughter is the greatest thing to happen to us and has defintely strengthened our marriage.

The happiest time was our first year of marriage. We were both making decent money, saving, traveling, doing new experiences together. Everything was so carefree, fun, and we just had a lot more time to do whatever we wanted. I miss our 4-hr Sunday afternoon naps, rolling out of bed, and grabbing dinner at wherever struck our fancy! We were also in the best shape of our lives. It was nice being young and free!

Life is good with kids, especially now that our 2nd is 7.5 months and our family is complete, but it's a different kind of happiness. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but sometimes I miss our carefree, less responsibility, selfish days! It's exhausting wearing so many hats at all times, and the work/home juggle isn't easy.

I feel like I have had several happiest times in my life. One was when I went to college, I got over a lot of my insecurities and made a ton of new friends and just had the time of my life. I think I came into my own then.

Another time was when I was around 27, I had a great job, great friends, living in NYC and I could afford to live there, not just pay for an apartment and stare at the 4 walls all day. I had a summer house, it was fun times!

Then the most recent time was when I ended a long relationship and began dating my husband. It was like a cloud that had been hanging over my head for 7 years disappeared.

Right now!!

We are so fortunate. I love seeing both LO's learn and grow every day. We're in a house that we love, DH's salary keeps increasing every year which is making life more comfortable and we are finally getting out of the phase where we are just starting out. We are also healthy and most nights both kids sleep through the night. I can't complain!

Right now. This past year had some ups and downs (mostly over a stupid boy ; ) but I am 100% happy. I'm so thankful that I met this family and took this job.

I would say our first year of marriage as well. We were incredibly happy and saving for our first house. We're still incredibly happy, especially now that we have LO...but our lives have been a giant rollercoaster starting about 3 years ago with my miscarriages, LO being born and in the NICU for a short period of time and my 3rd miscarriage recently. We both know how incredibly lucky we are to have each other and LO, but we've had our share of heartache lately.

So far, right now. With the exception of TTC (which sucks), things are going really well!

I think the year we got married and I was pregnant with LO was the best for my relationship with DH so far. Personally, I have never been happier than I am since LO arrived and I cannot imagine life without him. We definitely still have our struggles and moments where we wish we could be more care free, but I know we wouldn't change it for the world.

Now!!!!!!! The first year of DDs life was hard, but now she sleeps through the night, both my husband and I are working, and our relationship gets better everyday!

Right now. Our family is healthy and we laugh together daily. What more can I ask for? Life is sweet.

Definitely now! I have had the best two years of my life recently and it just keeps getting better.

I really really wish I could say right now - I feel like I should, especially since most of you have said right now. But it's hard. DD is the love of my life but by God is this hard work; she's not a super happy-go-lucky baby. DH and I are arguing, I miss hanging out with my BFF (we both have babies and haven't seen each other for over a month).... I'm pretty glum right now.

The happiest time of my life was when I was 23. I was looking the best I've ever looked and I lived with a good friend who was just so much fun. I was out pretty much every night (I drank far too much that year), dated a lot and just felt fantastic. It was a great year.

The few months after I met DH were also pretty amazing. We were so, so in love. I remember him saying to me that he hated having to let me go in the morning (when we had to go to work).... I wish we were still like that. Maybe we will be again.

I would say our first two years of marriage. We just bought our house, had lots of dinner parties, parties, lots of fun nights. It was extremely carefree and fun. Also, MIL pretty much left us alone which was really nice. During LO's first year has been difficult for so many reasons. The more that I talk to people, I keep hearing that the first year with an LO is tough on the marriage. I'm hoping that we won't have another tough year for awhile.

even though we didn't sleep a ton I'd say the two weeks after LO was born and husband was able to stay home. she was an easy newborn and we lived in this blissful bubble - no work, no external family visiting, just our new family of 3.
she is a lot more fun now of course, but more tiring too, and we have work stresses to deal with. so now is still good, but not that happy little bubble!

My year studying abroad when I was 16. Every day was just THE BEST and I knew it. I think it's rare that you realize how awesome a time is when you're in the middle of it, but I was totally conscious of that at the time. I have had many wonderful times of my life! But I think my youth and innocence were what made that one year so great. Right now is pretty good but it's more of a mixed bags now that I'm an old married mommy with lots of wordly concerns!

Right now, besides my job.LOL I have a nice home and I have Baby Bear, who makes every day so much better.

Thus far it would definitely be right now.

Dream status: our forever home and the teething. Oh, those damn teeth.

When DH and I were 20 and 21, respectively. I lived by the beach while in college and he came and stayed with me more nights than my roomates were happy with. We walked to the main street twice a day. We ate out. I snuck into bars. We just, on a whim, decided to go to Australia for a month! We both had school; I worked, he played baseball. But we were the most carefree we will most likely ever be in our lives. "Carefree" is the key word there.
