I played piano for 13 years (age 6-19) because I'm Korean and it's sort of a given (haha). In school, I played the flute from grades 4-9 and for one year in grade 8 I played percussion. Pounding on the huge bass drum makes you feel powerful!

I hated the piano though. I did it for 20 years out of obedience and duty.

I can't play anything but my husband makes up for it by knowing how to play about 13 different instruments lol

I played piano when I was younger, and tuba in middle and high school. I was about 120 lbs when I marched with the 50 lb tuba, but I loved it!
Hubby played clarinet and then sax throughout college. He won't play it now though, he refuses

played the flute for like 2-3 years in elementary. played the violin for 3 years in jhs. then haven't played an instrument since.

Saxophone, I hated the darn thing. I wish I knew how to play the guitar or piano, so maybe one day I'll take the time to learn.

I know this thread is old but I just had to get on here and comment...because no one has listed the bassoon yet!
I played bassoon for 4 years in high school, flute for 8 years and studied piano sporadically for about 4 years. I would LOVE to get back to playing the piano, I miss it so much!
