Hi, bees!

We're expecting our first in April and I am slowly building a stash of cloth diapers. I got a box of Motherease cotton nappies and covers at a garage sale for super cheap, and I've ordered a few randoms online. I'd say I have about 13 diapers right now?

Anyway, I joined a moms co-op on FB, and a buy for Alva pockets (3.0s) just opened up. I know they're cheapies - so I only want to make an order if they're actually going to be a great deal.

The diapers are $3.88 each (so far so good!), but then I would have to pay a $3 fee if I ordered 5-10. I was thinking about ordering 10, so that's $41.80 or something, and $4.18 each. Then, after the diapers were shipped to the co-op host, she would charge us for shipping to us. Which would probably be $4-6. Meaning I'd be paying (at the most) $4.70 each.

I like to round up, so let's say each diaper is $5. Have any of you gotten a better deal on Alvas?

On eBay, I can get the same diapers for $6, and they would be shipped directly to me, and I would have all the buyer protection that eBay provides.

I'm sorry this is kind of a jumble. I'm so exhausted. But what do you think? Good deal? Jump on it? Pass? Rip-off?

Thanks in advance ~ and I hope you're all having a good evening!
