Does anyone have a bandaid obsessed LO? Both of my girls insist they need a bandaid or three every day. I'm not sure what it is...maybe the characters? Can anyone relate?

@Bao: LO is the same but I dont let her have them lol. so she will always make up having a boo-boo that needs a bandaid. The good thing about it though is that when she really does get a scrape and I finally let her have a bandaid it really has a placebo effect. once the bandaid goes on it doesnt hurt anymore.
I was also a bandaid lover as a child so I can fully relate

Hahaha yess he loves them. I will actually buy the cheap ones in the dollar section of target just so he can play with them :). He likes to bandage up his animals too

You know what's funny, my LO is terrified of bandaids. The only thing I can think of is he associates them with shots? Because for a long time that's all he got them for. When he got his first bleeding scrape at about 20 months I tried to put one on him and he flipped the F out. He actually stopped crying and was fine once I took it off. When I've tried a couple more times to go near him with a bandaid (even fave characters) he got hysterical.
For a long time he had the same reaction to stickers. If I stuck one on his hand he flipped and said "no no no". Now he's ok with stickers. Still not ok with bandaids.

@SweetiePie: same here! DD had a lot of Rocephin antibiotic shots for ear infections, I I figure that is it.
For DDs first scraped knee I was all like "mom of the year, I got this!" And I got my stock of Frozen bandaids out. She started crying when I put Olaf on her knee and had previously not been crying...
Daycare put a parrot tattoo on her hand and I commented on it and she started whimpering. She was interested in me painting my nails so I painted 3 of her toes...same thing, freak out.

Mt DD is in this stage now. My friend laughed at me last time I was at Target when I let LO pick out FOUR boxes.
She is slowly asking for them less. DH is deployed now, she is acting out, its been rough on her....so if she wants bandaids. I don't care. She can have them. I need to pick my battles right now. But I feel ya.

My son hates them, I can't get them on him. He doesn't care that they have Mickey on them.
