She had a fever a few days ago but it's been gone for 2 days now. She woke up yesterday looking like this. She has 2 molars coming in.. Could it be a teething rash? Is that a thing?

My guess is Roseola. Google will tell you it's a super common virus that most children will get before the age of 3. Obvs. you could consult with your doctor, but that would be my guess. (and I've heard the rash doesn't make them uncomfortable)

How high was the fever? Does the rash seem to be bothering her? Mine had a rash like that when he had roseola. He had a few days of a high fever then when the fever broke his torso was covered in a rash.

Her fever got to 101 for a day or so, nothing crazy high, and the rash doesn't seem to bug her but she's been so grumpy, and not sleeping well AT ALL.

Looks like Roseola to me. That's what my lo looked like when she had it. Same symptoms, too, mine just had a fever for a longer period of time.

Did she have amoxicillin recently? That's what the start of my daughter's allergy rash to it looked like.

My son had a rash similar after a low grade fever. Our ped thought it was viral and it was gone in like 2 days. Bothered me more than him.

viral rash, I took LO in with this exact rash a few weeks ago and my doc said it's a rash that was flared up do to her eczema (already being treated for.) Lots of lotion (we use Vanicream) and it cleared up.

I am guessing roseola- my LO looked exactly the same, and also had a low-grade fever a couple of days before the rash broke. Luckily, once the rash breaks, the virus is already on its way out. (And thankfully it's not itchy!) It took several days before the rash disappeared.

Did she get a vaccine recently by any chance? About a week or two after my DD got her 1yr vaccines, she had a low fever and after that got a rash for a few days.

Thanks everyone! It seems to be mostly gone now, so it looks like you were all correct! And thank you especially @tiramisu for reminding me she needs another round of vaccinations!

Yup I was gonna say roseola! Some viruses like roseola come with a rash about 24 hours after the fever breaks. Glad she's better!
