My 11 month old has been SO miserable lately. She's had 4 teeth RIGHTTHERE for a couple weeks now. I happened to notice this today. Her other 4 teeth came through as.. White teeth. What is this?! And - it isn't a Canine so why pointy?

@sorrycharlie: could be an eruption cyst? Hard to tell from the picture

@yellowbird: I tried to crop closely but it gets even closer with the iPhone zoom - it's like, red and tissue? I thought maybe a clot or something? Totally freaked me out!

It looks like a blood blister coming in in front of the tooth. DS got them for all molars and canines. They were ugly and painful for him, but his pediatrician said they were totally normal. He had a rough go of teething since he would get like 8 at a time.
