@mrsaudi: I just don't get emotionally attached to an item. I can't justify paying so much for pieces he'll wear for a few more months. If I got him 12-18 in gap it'd be way too big, but I'm sure he'll only be in 6-12 for so long.. makes sense? so if it goes out of stock... oh well. I just find something else. I'm such a bargain shopper lol!!

@shopaholic: Oooh, L has that Baby Gap dress! She just wore it last weekend with this tan coat: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=8772&vid=1&pid=915112002

My mom got her a dress and pjs - she'll wear them on Christmas Eve. But I'm not sure if the dress will fit by then because it fits her now =/ I got her the same outfit as @mrsmenow for Christmas day.

@Crumbs: cute!
I'm kind of hesitant to buy more holiday outfits since DH's family buys a lot of baby holiday clothes (DD had 5 Halloween outfits and she only wore 3).

@Coco Bee: oh! I meant to tell you, if you have a gap card, this weekend they have an early Black Friday sale on everything! It's like 50% off of 2 fill priced items and 40% off of everything else!

@HeatherlovesKenny: Thanks lady! And seriously, the outfit you posted is absolutely adorable! I kind of want to check out the woman's etsy shop but am a bit afraid of how much damage I could do.... you must post pictures of E in her outfit once she wears it!
@krsmall: There is nothing cuter than a little one in a smart hat and a dapper outfit! He's adorable! And yes, I love Janie and Jack too....it's my downfall every time I go home!

C has multiple Christmasy outfits to wear all through December! She has a special Christmas dress to wear Christmas Eve with my family and another to wear Christmas Day with DH's. She has PJs to wear Christmas eve/morning and then she has some cute, "holiday" casual outfits to wear in the weeks surrounding.
Yes. I realize I'm a little nuts. haha.
I love her Christmas Eve dress, I scored it at an auction for $5! It was originally $60 and still has tags on it!

@zippylef: That's gorgeous and what a steal!!
This thread got me wanting to buy her a backup dress. I'm pretty sure her dress will be too small by then, plus they celebrate Christmas Eve here, so we usually leave for his parents on the 23rd. That ups the festivities a whole day, so she'll "need" another outfit and pjs =P
So far, this is what I found (unless my mom surprises me with another dress before then).

@Mrs. Sunglasses: penny doesn't have anything special, either. I may just have her in one of the white smocked dresses that were mine when I was a baby. Or, I will see if u can find a sweet plaid dress second hand.

@Crumbs: I have been eyeing something similar, but there aren't any h&m's really close by to go and look!!
I did get her a long sleeved white onsie that had a light gold lace skirt on it with matching headband to wear for pictures. I may throw some red or green leggings underneath. She also has a couple hand me down christmas-y sweaters to wear.

OMG, all these outfits are so adorable. I am already looking forward to Christmas next year to dress up my little girl! I always love Christmas dresses for girls.
DH has been warned I will go overboard in clothes for every holiday!

@krsmall: ohmygosh what a handsome little man!!
I've only bought Christmas pajamas from Carters so far but now I'm thinking I need a snazzy little man outfit! Even though it's only a month away I feel like I won't know his size...

I think we will definitely need a follow up on this thread with all the LOs in their outfits! Because they are all going to look adorable!

@HeatherlovesKenny: for real?!?! no way!! I'll check it out. In stores and online?
pineapple / 12234 posts
@Coco Bee: both! But it's only if you purchase with your gap card. However, last year on Cyber Monday, I bought all my maternity clothes for super cheap so I'm going to hold out!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@HeatherlovesKenny: it's even better during cyber monday?
pineapple / 12234 posts
@Coco Bee: I'm not certain about this year because I only got the early Black Friday news in the mail, but with cyber Monday last year their women's shirts were $6, normally $39. It took like 2 or 3 weeks to ship because of over demand.

My Mom got her this, so this is what she'll be wearing. Minus the hat and the shoes.

@Ree723: Oh my gosh how gorgeous is she???
So many cute clothes on this thread!
We're probably going a little bit less traditional...
(The Christmas outfits, not the Thanksgiving one).
The reindeer outfit (It says My First Christmas on it) was the very first thing we bought for Evan when we found out I was pregnant. It was on a clearance rack at Target a few days after Christmas (but before our first ultrasound), and we bought it and held our breaths and hoped we hadn't just jinxed the pregnancy.
It was only available in a 6m size, and at the time we decided it would be okay if it was big on him (or her), since he'll only be like 4.5m at Christmas, but now we're hoping we can still squeeze him into it then, lol.
I still may get him a nicer outfit...maybe a vest like cocobee posted on the first page...since DH's ultra-traditional Gram will be there, but I haven't found anything I like enough yet.

I think I'm going practical with her backup dress: something she can actually wear again. Maybe this sweater dress will work with white tights and a onesie. I bought a elf hat on Ebay and she can wear that with it too (if that ever arrives).

@Crumbs: So cute! I wish our H&M had baby clothes!!! One just opened up in Miami but it doesn't have kid stuff:(
@mediagirl: LOVE that outfit!!! So precious!
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one this thread opened up the crack-crazy on. I ended up ordering this dress and tights from Baby Gap last night, in case the previous links didn't work, and I think I'll put her little red sequin bow headband with it?
I got these to wear with the sequin bow headband for her newborn shoot, and I think that I'll do the onesie/baby legs thing for Christmas Eve along with this ruffle diaper cover from her newborn shoot and the headband....DH is really going to wonder what happened to our agreement that she doesn't need any more clothes.

Oh my, all these babies and outfits are soooo cute!

@PrincessBaby: I loooove sweater dresses. She'll look so precious in that.
