Do you have a Christmas outfit for your LO? Post a pic if so!
I don't think I'm going to really dress H up...She'll only be 3 weeks old and all the dresses I see look like they would be uncomfortable material on a newborn's skin....I'm thinking of just getting her a onesie from Etsy that says "Harper's First Christmas" with maybe some baby legs or some of her little pull-on pants from BabyGap....Something comfy!
What are you guys putting the bebes in??

lo is still cooking, but i plan on being completely ridiculous. i'm so excited to have a girl, and she is going to wear the frilliest most obnoxiously girly christmas dress i can find.

She always has a Xmas dress. For a newborn, I agree with something more casual/comfy.

We have two - both grandmas bought DD a Christmas dress! Fortunately, we'll spend half of the holiday season with one set of grandparents in the UK and the other half with the other grandparents in the US, so she'll get to wear both. DD will be 6 months old at Christmas, so it's a good age for wearing a cute dress!
I don't have a picture of her American dress but here's her British one from one of my favourite shops - Monsoon! And a picture of DD to get an idea of what she'll look like in her dress. I may look for a tiny bow to match (no bigger than the bow she has in her hair in this picture as I don't like big hair accessories), and she has cream coloured tights and black patent shoes to complete the outfit.

@photojane: Me too - I'm sort of glad she'll be older for her first Christmas so I can go nuts! If I had a newborn at Christmas I agree that comfy cute onesie or maybe a cotton dress is best! They actually have really cute cotton dresses at Gap that don't look too uncomfortable for a newborn.

We were gifted a beautiful red velvet dress with long sleeves and white satin trim at our baby shower that Emma will wear for Christmas (assuming our stringbean starts growing chunkier soon!). It ironically is almost identical to the dress I wore for my first Christmas.

I bought E a pair of red plaid overalls on sale from Gymboree a couple of months ago! He'll be wearing those with some cute shirt underneath (haven't decided yet) and these adorable little shoes that I have!

P will almost be 5 1/2 months around christmas so im gonna dress him in charcoal dress pants with a nice shirt and hopefully some of his shoes will fit him by then! if i had newborn i thnik i would dress them in something comfty but festive!

These were from last year. My daughter was two months old. She had a fancy dress for christmas Eve and then a soft one for christmas day. Please don't mind the weird plastic glove on my hand. I spilled a pot of soup on it and had burn cream it.
My boys usually have these types of christmas sweaters. Not as fun as the baby girl but they are still cute.

@photojane: I looked at that one bc Gap has 30% off through tonight online....But the white is sold out in 0-3, and if I got the red, I would want the white Trumpette tights with the black Mary Janes to go with it, but I can't find them anywhere in the tiny size! Any thoughts on where to get them?

@PrincessBaby: 35% if I use my gapcard haha!! I wish I'd had the car, I would have gone to the gap and seen if they had it because I hate paying for shipping but cannot justify spending $50 to get free shipping 
Also - gap runs REALLY big and my nearly-9-mos-old still fits into sz 3-6 months, so idk if the 0-3 mos size will even fit little Harper at 3 weeks old!!

I ordered the red one and the tights with the bow...I needed to get to $50 to get free shipping on a robe that I wanted for my PP house wardrobe:) I love Gap bc if you don't like something, you can just return it to the store, so I'll see what it looks like...The other thing is that we live in FL, so no idea if it'll be 60 degrees or 80 degrees, plus it'll just be DH and I with her for Christmas. We're having visitors for before and after but the week of Christmas we'll finally be solo! So we may be laying around in rags, lol;)

@krsmall: He is the perfect little man! OMG that Christmas outfit is to die for! Are hats the same thing as headbands and bows in that you have to start them early to get used to them and if so, they don't mind wearing them? He looks like a little man who wears a hat all the time- no big deal!

We don't have a particular outfit, she got a Christmas/winter outfit as a gift but its going to be too big. I have a couple of cute winter onesies though so she will just wear one of those

Okay- I took a few snaps. We have the classic plaid dress, the adorable sweater dress (my fave!) and the typical red and white dress. I haven't decided what day she is going to wear which dresses.

@Coco Bee: yeah good idea! I have found that when I wait it usually goes out of stock though! Do you have problems finding Cobi's size? It's so hard for me to find 6-9 month stuff! I will be glad when he's in 12 months b/c I can find a ton of cute stuff in that size!
