PT daycare. Not happy. It's across town and doesn't have part time rates. Been on a waiting list for a place one minute away and that is cheaper for months. But he does great there!

SAHM, was a little hard to get used to. A lot more work than I ever imagined, but it is the most amazing "job" I have ever had.

Part time daycare. It's an old coworker of mine who has her own in home daycare. She's super flexible, which is key with our inconsistent work schedule. DH is still a WAHD most days.

DH is a SAHD. DS is in 2nd grade and in public school, we love it. The schools here are great. LO stays at home with her Daddy. We're happy with it.

LO is in daycare 4x a week and my ILs watch her 1x a week. I'm satisfied with her daycare but not my top choice. Some decisions to make in the coming months!

SAHM until May or June 2014 (Father Time, please slow down the clocks!). She will go to daycare once I return to the workforce. My mom said she will come live with us to help watch the kids once we have 2 kids so I am really looking forward to grandma care eventually!

SAHM for the forseeable, though my parents have LO one day a week which gives DH and I time together

Full-Time Daycare and I'm mostly happy with it. I've had a few incidents with a couple different teachers there, but I love the director and those teachers don't watch Xander anymore, so hopefully things improve! But regardless, Xander LOVES it there, so that makes it easier!

Two part time daycares for almost full time coverage. Montessori toddler preschool in the morning (so next year he can be full day until 5:30 pm) then another preschool until 4:30 pm.

SAHM and mostly love it. Can be stressful at time taking care of a toddler and infant without any help during the day, but it's working our better than expected.

Full time day care and I'm super frustrated. We moved to a new city in Nov so I had to leave the day care I selected while I was pregnant. I had to wait a month ( flying two grandmas in meanwhile) for a spot at an in home daycare - only to find out they only have a spot until March. It's a fine day care but I'm so frustrated with the hunt and wait lists.

FT in-home daycare and we generally love it! I sometimes wonder if he would do better at a center- I am paying about the same where we are, if not a bit more, but for now it works for us.

We do what I would call 3/4 day care at a center and 1/4 care by my parents (equivalent to after school). It works great for our family, especially since I don't have to worry about sick care when my son isn't able to attend day care.

We had a nanny share until LO was 8 months which was amazing, then I became a sahm for a few months, which is good but I plan to go back to work in a few months and then LO will be in ft daycare. By then he will be 14 months + so I think that he will benefit from the interaction.
I feel like we have been really lucky with our childcare so far.
