Right now I'm feeling groggy and a bit melancholy - just because I'm tired. I'm brewing some coffee and in a few minutes I should be half-normal
How are you feeling?

Confused. I am trying to tackle a bunch of work and I don't quite know how to begin because it is not making sense.

I'm excited to be here at work and on hellobee in the quiet hours before everyone gets in (enjoying my coffee and second breakfast) BUT I have been super cranky for the past 24-48 hours. Wagon Sr. and I had a big blowout fight last night. We received a truckload (literally, we had to rent a u-haul) of hand-me-downs and I started sorting through them over the weekend, and so far I have 3 big garbage bags of donations for the salvation army. Wagon Sr. loaded them into the car (we don't have a garage) but I had him take them out because I didn't want them weighing down the car all weekend and taking up all the space because I had to go grocery shopping, costco, etc. I asked him to leave them on the front porch until he was ready to make the trip to the salvation army dropoff. Then yesterday after we put Wagon Jr. down for bed I went to Costco, and when I opened the trunk to load all the stuff in, guess what was taking up all of the trunk space....?? Three big bags of donations for the salvation army.
GRR.
It's one thing for someone to be forgetful and lazy and procrastinating... but the fact that I had already asked him to NOT put the bags in the car AND told him all of my reasoning, and he decided to put them in anyway... and the exact thing that I didn't want happening ended up happening?!? Thankfully I was able to squeeze all the stuff around the bags but the entire back window was blocked and I almost got into two accidents. I was fuming.
His reasoning? It was gonna rain yesterday (it didn't) and he didn't want the bags getting wet.
Ugh. Anyway. I went pregnancy hormone ballistic on him.

@sorrycharlie: happy birthday!!
@Rubies: i know!! i thought i had it figured out but nope .... sigh. procrastinating on HB instead. ugh ugh ugh. hope your coffee is giving you that kick start now!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@Andrea: that's the worst. I try to make lists to help with that, but it doesn't always work!
@Rubies: Thank you!
@mrs. wagon: ugh! I would have had the same reaction!! my argument to DH would have been if he was worried about the rain, put 'em in the house until the rain stopped!

@mrs. wagon: "pregnancy hormone ballistic" - so, THAT'S what it's called! That term would have been a bit more helpful when I was pregnant to explain certain things. "I'm just emotional" didn't seem to cut it. Heh. I hope you guys make up soon!

@sorrycharlie: His reaction to that logic? "there were bugs outside, I didn't want to get them in the house." He didn't want to put WET bags into the car, but he didn't mind putting BUGGY bags into the car...?!? over the whole weekend and leaving them there?!?!? Honestly.... sometimes I think men have a 3 thought max and then their brains just stop.
@Rubies: Seriously... it is a little scary because sometimes I feel like I can't control my anger!! I've never felt that way before. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant with a girl... haha. We're pretty much made up but I am still kind of recovering from all the rage... oh my.
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@mrs. wagon: haha! I totally agree with the 3-thought logic. DH and I have had SO MANY FIGHTS since I got pregnant..I am also pregnant with a girl..interesting! it's even worse because I know I sound insane, but I cannot stop myself. and most of the time I feel as though I am entirely justified, so even if I could stop myself, I don't! pregnancy hormones..no joke. holy moly.

@sorrycharlie: Haha seriously. Maybe it's the dramatic little girls we have growing inside us... passing us these darn hormones. I seriously find myself just raging and not being able to stop. Strangely enough, isn't that how MEN work, when they get angry and stuff? I feel like when I'm in that mode I'd be unstoppable on a football field... lol.

Cranky. I didn't sleep well this weekend, didn't sleep well Sunday and last night I slept for 9 hours. I'm still exhausted. My co-workers are annoying me so, I'm cranky. Taxes are due in one week and they're not done yet (husband does them). Shower is next weekend at our house and nothing I want done is done yet except everything HE THINKS needs to be done is getting done. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
@mrs. wagon: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to Wagon Sr, as well. I'll be grumpy with you.

@mediagirl: yay cranky twins. Let's be cranky together.

Very grumpy! Second day back at work and I feel so sick- exhausted, sore throat and phlegmy! But I don't want to take a sick day after 4 months of maternity plus my boss scheduled a "catch up" meeting later today. Waaaah!

Pissed off and freaked out. I've been waiting an hour at the doctors office to have staples and stitches removed.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@autumnlove: uggghhhh....that is not a good way to feel after coming back to work. I hope you get through it quickly.
@artbee: yikes. Well, the good news is staples and stitches usually come out pretty easily. When I had staples removed from my head, it actually felt great because my head was SO itchy while they were in. Hopefully it's the same for you. Is this the next step in your recovery?

@artbee: *HUGS*...I hope your name gets called soon! And I hope all goes well!

@mediagirl: glad it's done! The good news is I can now shower finally, and I can hold her standing up. I just can't pick her up from the floor yet.
@Rubies: thanks!

@Rubies: < i > insert word < / i >, but no spaces between the brackets and the letter i. You can also bold or underline by swapping out the letter i for the letter b and u, respectively.

I'm pissed off! I woke up to find a loaf of homemade bread on my living room carpet half eaten. Someone left the pantry door open when they left for work this morning and the dogs treated theirselves to a breakfast treat. *sigh*

Excited--I just got home from our NT scan and everything looked great. But also feeling a little annoyed because I have to be at work in a half hour, boo.
