I tried Five Guys for the 1st time a couple weeks ago! OMG the best place ever for hamburgers in my opinion. Everyone seems to love In-and-Out but I'm not a big fan!

FIve Guys, HANDS DOWN THE BEST!
Way better than anything else I have ever tasted, and I call myself a burger connoisseur!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: its amazing! the closest one to me is like an hour and a half way though! wahhh

I don't like 5guys or in and out. I am happy with a dollar burger from Mc a D's. Or from Chilis.

@mrsaudi: I like the one with swiss and avocado. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

For chains, In and out - sorry! But Five Guys has better fries though and a ton of it too! Also, Smashburger recently came out to out area and it's not that bad! I'll have to go again to make sure it's really that good. There's also a local burger place called Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington, VA that beats them ALL!

in n out in california, shake shack in ny! five guys is ok.... but in n out and shake shack is much better!

I am not a fan of 5 Guys... I do love me some In & Out when I'm on the west coast!! I like Fuddruckers, though I can't remember the last time I went to one. I always like it when I can choose how I want my burger cooked... medium!

@sweetchic: Oh I lve fudruckers! The buns are so amazing. I totally forgot about them. The one close to me closed

There is a tiny little place near my house called Pete's that has great burgers. I like Five Guys too.

I mentioned this on another thread today but if you're ever in Seattle, Dicks Drive-in has the best burgers. "Melt in your mouth" good, which sounds like an odd way to describe a burger but they are really good. Five guys is just okay.

never had 5 guys - now I want to try it!!
There are a few organic cafes about an hour away that sell grass fed burgers that are delicious!
I cannot stand fast food - it always makes me sick.

@Mrs. Bee: I love Shake Shack!
I love Five Guys. In-n-Out is yummy too, but I think Five Guys is better.

Fuddruckers for sure, but they closed down around here. Now it's 5 Guys. So good! I do like Jake's Wayback Burgers too.

Andy's. I'm not sure where they are located but I heard they're going national soon. It's a burger, cheesesteak and shake place. Kind of an old fashioned soda shop type restaurant. I loooove their burgers, fries and shakes.
When I'm looking for fast - I like a plain hamburger from Wendy's. I like that they're salty.

I never should have opened this thread. I want a cheeseburger now and it's not even 8am.

Usually anything that isn't a big chain has the best burgers for me tastes

I like Five Guys but I also love a location place, Canyon Burger. They have a turkey burger that is so good. Then I don't feel bad about eating more fries

I love five guys, but our town has a little burger specialty shop that is amazing! They use all local meat, have amazing black bean burgers, and have fun toppings like feta, blue cheese, avacado, and they make their own fry sauce! Yum!
Oh, and they deliver!

Fuddruckers is my favorite burger!!! I love their cheese sauce and their fries too. Oh my gosh. I can't believe other people said Fuddruckers too. I LOVE THEIR BURGERS.
I do like me some Five Guys as well, and I'm REALLY excited they're opening a Shake Shack (right next to a Pinkberry!) 10 mins away from us... WOOHOO!!
I always say that a McDonald's cheeseburger would be one of the items in my Last Meal. And I love Wendy's too.

Big Smoke in Canada.. used to be Craft Burger. It's making me drool just thinking about it!

There is a fabulous local joint near me that is THE BEST. But I do loooooove Five Guys too!

@HeatherlovesKenny: It’s makes me so happy to see Dick’s Drive-In mentioned! I grew up in Seattle and my dad used to take my brother and I there as a special treat; I love that place. Love the sauce they put on the burgers and those greasy, tasty fries!
For chains; I like 5 Guys because you can have whatever topping combination you want and In and Out.

@mrsaudi: in-n-out is okay, but I had 5 guys about 3 weeks ago and it was wonderful! I can't wait to go back. They are opening a chick-fil-a near me in a few weeks and I've never had them, so I am looking forward to trying them too.

I used to really like five guys, but they have drastically reduced how much fries they give! I also tried Smash Burger but I wasnt too impressed

I can't think of any burger that I love from a fast food place that much, but there is a restaurant in our city that makes the greatest burgers ever. mmmmm Motorburger

I love Five Guys! I have been craving it for weeks and for some reason can't bring myself to get it because I know I'd order that huge thing of fries and eat the whole dang thing for myself.
For fast food, Wendy's has THE best burgers.

I reeeeeally want a burger now! There are a several local chains with good burgers that I love. For bigger chains, I like In n Out and Five Guys. I'm also pretty partial to fast food burgers, I don't discriminate!

In-n-Out and there's a burger place called Slater's 50/50 (they're known for their 50% beef/ 50% bacon patty) which is AMAZING. And I love Fuddrucker's too, because I could swim in the cheese sauce. LOL. And I'm cheap and turn the condiment/burger topping station into a salad bar.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
I like Mooyah's! It's not too greasy and their fry quantity is more than what you order because they fill up the cup then dump an extra half cup into the sack. I also like in-n-out because I can get it protein style and no salt!
Not a fan of five guys because theirs seem too greasy for me. Even though McDonald's is super unhealthy, I do occasionally crave their burgers even though I'll be in a nasty food coma immediately afterwards. Burger King would be another place I'd get a burger from - specifically, the Whopper!

Hmm, I like a lot of different places. For fast food I'd have to say Carls Jr. I like the burgers at Chilis too. I haven't tried 5 guys yet and a smashburger just opened up by my house which I haven't tried either. I do like In N Out also but their fry's aren't my favorite.
