We had some fettuccine alfredo with garlic bread for lunch today! Olive is pasta fiend and sadly she ate more than Charlie did.
My favorite pasta is the classic spaghetti w/ meat sauce because I grew up eating it. It was one of the very few nonkorean dishes my mom used to make.
But when I'm out I love to order linguine clams (white wine sauce) yum! I also love creamy, alfredo type sauces, especially when they have some saffron added yummy yummy!

I'm an Italian, so pasta is a staple around here. I make a killer carbonara and mr thinks I make the best meatballs in the universe (thanks honey). In the summer we make our marinara from scratch from homegrown organic heirloom tomatoes. I do NOT have the touch to make pesto, (it's northern Italian and I'm southern).... But I do enjoy a good pesto!
Oh and don't forget about risotto and gnocchi!

Mmm love linguine with clams in white wine sauce! Shrimp diavolo is good too (with angel hair). M loves pasta .. I make it for her dinner almost every night!

I'm an alfredo fan! I don't care if the sauce is on rotini, fettuccine, penne, anything!
I also love red sauce and meatballs - but only the recipe that my family makes at home. I've got a super texture-thing and hate 'chunks' in my sauce, lol.

I love all pasta. Meat sauce, marinara w/ meatballs, puttanesca sauce, alfredo sauce, etc, etc, etc. (I don't like clams though...) In the summer I love roasting some veggies from the farmers market w/ olive oil and some herbs, and then I toss that with some pasta and cheese. Yum!

Love me some homemade sauces - marinara or alfredo. I hardly ever eat alfredo because it's so fatty but man, I love it! It's a great sauce to dip into, as well.
More than anything, I love homemade pasta. When a restaurant makes their own pasta, they have my heart. I had a squid ink pasta on our last trip to NYC that was just amazing.

I LOVE linguine clams with a white wine sauce and sometimes with some tomatoes as well. That's one of my go to dinners when I can't think of anything else to make. I also love tagliatelle with bolognese sauce as well. My friend and I found this random little Italian restaurant when we went to Milan many years back and went back days in a row for dinner. They had the best tagliatelle w/bolognese, ever. I think I fell in love with that dish then! Now, if only Nicholas would eat more pasta with meat I would make it more often.

I like carbonerra or realy any rose sauce, but all pasta is super duper delicious!!! I could eat pasta every day, but I'm off Gluten for now so the pasta selections are limited.

Can I say I like them all? I love classic spaghetti and meatballs, angel hair with herbs and some sort of buttery sauce, and seafood fettuccine alfredo.

I love white clam sauce because I have no idea how to make that at home which is for the best because I woul eat it so much. At home I saute fine diced red onion with garlic in olive oil until its a little crispy then toss with any pasts on hand. Now I know what's for dinner...
I also make a mean truffle Mac and cheese.

I saw Susan Feniger talk about this on tv one day and decided to hunt down the recipe. It is sooooooo good. Plus, it is easy to change up by adding in veggies or chicken or whatever you like.

I'm with Mrs. Jacks with being italian, except I'm northern and southern so I have the pesto touch and make a KILLER pesto (I can send you the recipe if you want @Mrs. Jacks: it's super simple if you have a food processor).
My favorites sauces include lots of garlic. I make a great pesto cream sauce but my most favorite pasta that I make is what I call "junk pasta". I take a bunch of veggies - mushrooms, olives, zucchini, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, etc - and either roast them or saute them in garlic, butter, olive oil and then toss them with pasta, fresh basil, a little heavy cream and freshly grated cheese. Soooo good!

@Mrs. Jacks: @chrispygal: Can I move in with y'all because my love for pasta/Italian is intense. Ha! Extra garlic and veggies - yes please! Especially mushrooms!
I like all things pasta, but don't care too much for the heavy, creamy sauces. I used to be all about the alfredo, but am more towards the marinara and lighter entrees (tossed in olive oil and basil, etc) now.

I love ALL stuffed pastas. Ravioli, cannelloni, anything with a hefty dose of cheese is pretty awesome (I have a mild dairy allergy, but its worth it). I also love seafood linguine - so good!

I'm so weird, I don't really like red sauces at all!
My favorite is gnocchi in some sort of light very garlicky cream sauce. Or really any type of pasta with a garlicky cream sauce.
I also like pastas with lots of veggies (like zucchini, and/or asparagus) lightly tossed with garlic olive oil.

My favorite would have to be a chicken marsala, but I really like the wine sauce to be light, and less creamy. Sometimes when I order it the sauce is soooo thick and creamy, but I like it better with a lighter sauce since it's just so rich to begin with!
