Pad kra pao like a PP mentioned or anything with a spicy basil sauce! I'm also a huge fan of Thai soups, especially the Tom Yum with lemongrass! It's like a flu cure everytime!

@sandy: my favorite Thai place makes it with Chinese broccoli which is also my favorite green.
Now I want Thai but it's always so expensive. Blah.

Yumm...I usually get a yellow curry with chicken. Or cashew chicken. Or all of it, actually. I love Thai food. and Thailand. And I want to go back asap!

massaman curry with tofu! it always comes with potatoes and peanuts, and is a little milder usually than other curries.

@Mrs. Pickle @regberadaisy @sandy: I think you've picked my dish for tonight! I've never had Pad See Ew before. The restaurant we are going to serves it with Chinese broccoli. I love that stuff.
On that topic - is it spicy at all? Is it good spicy? I love spicy.
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@mediagirl: it's generally not spicy. I bet M will love it!
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
Pad see ew is definitely our favorite over here, too! YUM! We picked some up from a new place last Friday night and were so disappointed by the fact that the noodles weren't wide like they are traditionally served. Waaaaah.

I always seem to fall back on pad thai lately (I order mine spicy!) but DH and I both like rama curry a lot. Not all restaurants have it, but it's a spicy peanut curry. I also like pad woon sen (glass noodles with vegetables and choice of protein).
cantaloupe / 6131 posts
Beef drunken noodles and pork prik king (the chili stir-fry with green beans) with lots of rice! If DH is involved, we also get a chicken green curry.

I love panang or green curry. I like the spice
Also, tom kha gai soup -- basically coconut milk, lemongrass and chicken soup. It's sweet and sour and yum! My husband's favorite is massaman curry.

Pad Khing because ALL THE GINGER. So yummy. They don't have it everywhere, though. Only a couple of Thai restaurants in my city do it!

Anything with peanut sauce. Our local place makes a coconut peanut chicken that is amazing.

Pad Thai but it's getting more difficult to find it made with tamarind sauce instead of tomato sauce, which tastes like ketchup noodles to me.
Also, pad see ew, tom yum, anything red or green curry, shrimp cakes, chicken skewers and green mango/papaya salad!

Love Thai! My favs are green curry chicken or Panang curry beef. Fresh rolls with peanut sauce on the side! Going to go look up Pad see ew now to see what this crowd fsvourite is all about!

Red and green curry, Tom kha gai - I love Thai soups! I love Pad Thai, but no one seems to make it "right" around these parts
