It's all too easy to say something we don't like about ourselves, so I thought we could try to say at least one positive thing about ourselves, no matter how small it might be.
For me, my hair is naturally wavy and I love that I can just throw some mousse in it and be done with styling.

I like that I'm good with kids. A student's mom today told me that her daughter talks about me all the time at home and she told her mom "I looove my teacher Mrs. Jen." Makes me smile

I love that I truly believe in giving people opportunities to do right, even when they don't ask for a second chance (or third or fourth!). I love that I attempt to let each day to be a new day, not that I forget or even forgive everything from previous days, but everyday has potential to be a great day if given the chance!
Also, I like my eyes... And my lips aren't too bad either

I love my eyes. Not necessarily the color (brown) but the shape. Think Cat eyes. They are so easy to make up.

It makes me sad that this thread got so few responses. If this was about your favorite thing about your husband or your children it would be over flowing!! I totally admit I looked at the thread when you originally started and and just couldn't think of something so I didn't respond : (
Now that I've thought about it some more I would say my favorite thing about myself is that I really try my best to put others before me and to care for the people who are important to me.

I feel fortunate that I have a pretty face. I can sort of let the rest of myself go and still be described as beautiful. And it's been my experience that pretty people are treated better than average - I used to be an ugly duckling so I've seen both sides.
I'm now resisting the urge to say what I don't like about myself - aaahh!!

@BabyBoecksMom: I'm jealous of your hair! that's what I've always wanted. I can achieve it, but only with a very expensive digital perm that I have to travel far for!! I can't wait til after this baby is born so I can do it again.
Physically, I like my eyes, even though they are small asian eyes. They are a nice shape and look good when I apply makeup, which is fun. I also like my legs, minus the brand new cellulite this baby has placed on my thighs. My legs from knee to ankle are really nice though. No matter how fat I am at the moment, they are slender and my ankles are really slim.
In terms of my personality, I like that I'm witty. I love to go back and forth with people and make them laugh. I lost it for a while, when I was a SAHM and my social skills and vocabulary went down the toilet, but thankfully it's back.

@MamaMoose: I had a really hard time finding something about myself that I really liked... and the only thing I came up with was my hair! haha I bet if I started a thread about what we'd like to change about ourselves, it would be overflowing!
Too often, we are looked down on if we say something nice about ourself... like it makes us vain if we say it outloud. I think we need to embrace it!
I think I'm going to add that I like my personality for the fact that I can usually make people feel at ease. I'm down to earth, and goofball and that can disarm people and make tense situations a little more relaxed.

Probably my loyalty. I have had very,very few close friends in my life because once I commit to a relationship, I'm all in. Those closest to me know I can be counted on. I only have a couple close friends, one being my sister- and those are the relationships I pour into and would drop anything if they needed me.
I also love my creativity and that I don't have a fear of trying new things. It makes life so much easier, I'm always open to new experiences. As for being creative, I've actually made or attempted at least half of what I pin on pinterest, so I've never viewed my time on there as wasteful.
My husband would probably say he likes how productive I am. I like to get a lot done in a day to feel accomplished.

@Coco Bee: Like you, my husband loves how productive i am...I am not afraid of hard work and get so much done as a SAHM that he loves it. I take a lot of pride in being a hard worker.
Physically, I would say that my favorite feature is my smile...and I love that LO is very smiley too

@sandy: it's been a bit harder with a 3 mos old, but I think I do pretty well. We didn't fall into the trap of ordering take out over and over cause we had a baby, we cook like usual and we're both so glad for that.
