LO1 is out of school for the summer, but we will be working on her letters during her break. She is very into it right now, so I'm taking advantage! LO2 is only 2 so she's not doing much but she is interested in colors and what 'matches', so that's fun!

DD1 is 4 and at preschool they are working on writing readiness. Strengthening their fingers to hold a pencil properly, practicing writing their names, etc. With the warmer weather they are also focusing on science/nature.
They recently had caterpillars in the classrooms! The kids saw them build cocoons and saw a couple emerge as butterflies, right after nap time! That was the highlight of last week!
We will be working on writing her name and numbers in preparation for preK in the fall.

@regberadaisy: same thing with LOs school...lots if writing, the kids have to sign themselves in in the morning so cute. And they are exploring nature, last week was ocean life and this week they are learning about parks.
At home we are working on her lowercase e, R, and Y since she has trouble with those.
And she'll be in gymnastics in July and August.

DS is 3 and we are working on letter sounds and identifying consonants and vowels. Also numeral recognition past 20 and counting forward and backwards 0-20. He keeps skipping 13, which in the teaching world is often called a "tricky" number.
DD is 2. Working on identifying all her letters and numeral recognition and forward/backwards counting 0-10.

I'm trying not to focus on letters and numbers at home because I don't want her to know everything already when she starts preschool in September (and thus get bored). Instead, we are working on science at home - we're growing seeds, focussing on mini-beasts and learning about volcanos at the moment.

Her daycare is doing a unit on sea creatures. Not sure she has learned anything from that, but she has definitely picked up some moves from their dance sessions - she now bops up and down and swings her arms around when we have music on. SO CUTE.
