Fruit!!! If it wasn't for her fruit intake, we wouldn't need our Costco membership.

Carbs!!! She loved anything in carb form. All kinds of rice, noodles and bread. She literally has not met a carb she doesn't like.

Carbs! She is more into meats lately but lately she just wants to eat bread for every meal.

I think dairy wins over carbs....oh man. I dunno. Milk and cheese vs. pasta and waffles....that's tough.

candy. is that not a food group? she'd eat candy all day if we let her.
papaya / 10343 posts
@SleepyMonkey: who wouldn't? lol
@LovelyPlum: eh.. ok? I bought blueberries and bananas. the bananas were too hard to give her. The blueberries were the right texture but she seems to have trouble with the skins not really dissolving. she crunches them and then the skin sticks to her tongue and she gags. so she will eat a few of them... but she doesn't really love them. I was worried about trying strawberry with her bc I know it is a common allergen but we've given her some things with strawberry in them and had no reaction so i feel like at this point even if she was allergic it would be a more mild allergy and not the scary kind. so I think i'll buy a bag of those next to try.
ETA: Also.. with soup. Do you just spoon feed her? I would like to try soup with fia but I don't know how. She hates spoons.

@Mae: well, it wasn't horrible, so there's that G loves dried mango. We also found these rice thins crackers that she goes nuts over. I'm glad you're finding more food for her to eat!
@SleepyMonkey: if it isn't, it should be!

@LovelyPlum: oo where are the crackers from? also I'm scared to try mango with her because I am allergic to it. Although mostly bc I don't want to touch it in dealing with preparing/cleaning up (I have a contact allergy). but dried mango I could maybe give her. But I'd still prob wait a while.

@Mae: yes to the spoon feeding, though she's also sipped some out of a mug. I have also taken the "guts," so to speak, out of my soup and let her pick them up to eat. It worked really well with rice and small pieces of shredded chicken. And sometimes, I just pick it up and give it to her.
Can Fia use a straw? If so, you could give her one of those. Or, I saw this at Target yesterday. I might give this a try:

Apparently you can use the pouches for both liquids and purees.
