If you work out of the home, what is your work space like?
Do you have a cubicle, a desk in a big area, your own office, etc

My office building used to be a college dorm... so for some reason, my small office has a few kitchen cabinets and a sink. I always thought it was really funny, but it works great for washing pump parts! I don't have any windows, but that also works well for pumping.

Desk in a big area, they believe in open communication so no cubicles/offices. There are only about 6 offices in the entire place (600 employees) for the very top big dogs. I will never be getting one of those offices

My desk is in the lobby, I have a huge U-shaped desk and I can see/talk to everyone else from here.

Strangely I have a photo of my office on my phone somewhere to motivate me to get all the junk off it before mat leave.
I have my own private office with a desk and two guest chairs. A bookshelf, a side table with lots of work piled on it and floor to ceiling outdoor windows.

Used to be in a nice, spacious cubicle, but when our company merged into a joint venture, I moved to a floor with a desk in a big area similar to what @LuLu Mom: described. I don't like it. at all!!

@Alivoo01: I don't enjoy it either. I would love an office!

Cube for me. Offices are few here and people fight over them.

I work in a converted mansion and share an office. It's drafty, but I do have one of the warmest offices in the winter and coldest in the summer.

I guess you could say I have a "private" office. I technically share with one other person, but he works from home, which is like, 2 hours away. He'll usually come in once (for a day or two) every 2 weeks or so, so more often than not, I'm on my own!

Cubicle with a big window here. I love it, but I'd love an office (in this exact spot with the window) more, haha.

@LuLu Mom: I was happy with my cubicle!! As an auditor, the openness and extra noise from people just chit chatting all day long is a distraction/privacy issue.

I have a cubicle with 3 walls and privacy screens on my computers. I prefer not having an open cube system. I face out so no one can sneak up behind me. I hope we never go to an open system..i think it would be really difficult with the clearances required here!

I have my own office. We always keep our doors open, but I shut it completely in order to pump. I love the privacy! And I'm so thankful for my own spacious office.

I share an office with co-worker that has a divider in the middle to create two office spaces. Basically like a cubicle but bigger and with real walls on 3 of the four sides

I have my own office with desk, cabinets, book shelves, guest chair and window. The building isn't brand new and my double paned window has some leaking issue so much of the time my window is all foggy haha ohhh, fancy!

I have a cube in a quad. Most of the buildings are set up like that, and mostly only managers have offices. The engineers have cubes, which I think works out better for collaboration and more causal environment.

I work from home. When I go in on friday its basically a bank of desks that I work at, but no one else works at the same desk bank as I do!

We have kind of v shaped nurses stations. Probably 6-8 computers and we all just sit and we can let each other know info but still get up and into the hallway easily.

I share the office with my boss, both of our desks face the door with room dividers "housing" the file cabinets between our desks. It's a very casual office. I actually took a picture of Maddy playing at my computer this morning, she got to visit for a few minutes

I work from home! A big desk covered in work, a file cabinet, and a few bookshelves. We're in an apartment now, so it also has a futon in it for guests.

@Mrs. Pen: you got the job?! That's awesome Congrats!!
I'm a cube dweller as well, big enough for a large desk, 2 guest chairs and a book shelf. The only person with a real door is our manager, but I face out and no one can see my screen unless they are in my chair, so I don't mind.

Open cube dweller here. We reserve our seats daily/weekly in a hoteling system. I pump in a mother's room on the tech floor.
