I'm about to buy hemp doublers, but I want to check and see if it's the best solution for my overnight POCKET diapers. (BG 4.0)
Or should I invest in the wool system (seems overwhelming with the type of care and plus I've never used the type that need covers....also seems expensive.
Or what works for you?

During the day we use gDiapers, but they seemed to leak more at night so at night we use some off-brand super simple pocket diapers (overstuffed) with a plastic pant over it. Looks ridiculous but not much leaking.

Hemp doublers work great with our BG 4.0s. Just make sure you put them under the microfiber.

Right now we use some rearz fitteds with a hemp insert (sometimes). We use pockets during the day but I was apprehensive to stuff them with more for nighttime as I didn't want to stretch the leg hole area.
I REALLY want to get some RAR pockets as they are the best to stuff since they have leg gussets! *drool*

we used the applecheeks 3 ply hemp inserts overnight before we switched to sposies at night (due to rash, she didn't leak through).

ugh we never found anything that worked - so we use disposables at night.
I wanted to try fitteds but I'd need several fitteds in order to use them every night though.

@Coco Bee: I got lucky and scored a set of 5 on zulily. They still have these packs of 2 on babysteals in the archives...
I think I may be getting some myself. Can't ever have too much fluff! lol

I use a tot bot bamboozles fitted with a flip or Rumparooz cover. Sawyer never comes even close to soaking the fitted, and we have never had a leak at night.

I'm subscribing to see others' responses - I plan to CD but baby isn't here until November!
I have seen on other boards that people have upcycled wool covers from sweaters, etc. if you (or someone you know) is crafty, which seem to be the expensive part.

We have all in one diapers, and we just add a hemp liner in there.

I really was never able to get my BG4.0 to work right at night no matter what I put in them. I did have luck though with my GroVia with a hemp booster in the insert. Also, an organic insert in my Thirsties Duo Diaper which have a double leg gusset.

I think I'm going to order some hemp doublers and see how they go. I've had some success with cotton doublers in there, and I know the hemp ones absorb more. All we can do is try, right? 
@MsMini: I was hoping you would respond. Just to be on the cheaper-side I'm going to try the hemp doublers first, but if they don't work out I am definitely going to order your system...glad it is still working for you and now I have it in this thread in case I want to order. On an unrelated note: can you get your AMP elephant print (which I noticed we have the same) to not leak? I just use it for normal day use, but the edges are always wet and make Nico's pants wet.

@cvbee: The AMP's in general are a bit fussy with leaks I find, I much prefer my fuzzibunz. I actually use a fuzzibunz microfiber insert in the AMP's and find unless he has a huge pee all at once they are fine. I can't use an AMP first thing in the morning, because he usually has his biggest pee first thing, and he pees through them.

why don't the companies that make the hemp/bamboo/cotton stuff just pre-wash them the 5 times or whatever for us?!!
Got my hemp inserts. One pre-wash done. I am not supposed to wash them with my diapers, so that the diapers won't get the oils on them. I am looking all over my house for things to wash. The 5 times pre-wash thing is super annoying.
End rant.

I prefer fitteds with covers. We like Thirsties Fab Fitteds (with hemp doubler) or Tots Bots Bamboozle with a Blueberry coverall. My son has never had leaks. We usually lay a fleece liner from Bummis or Swaddlebees in so it keeps the wetness from irritating his skin.

@cvbee: I know, right? Oh well. Do you have a cloth diapering store near you? I love being able to touch the cloth and see how they are instead of going online.
And yes... with medium sized inserts they just soak and soak and soak--they are awesome! The small ones weren't quite enough, we had to change him (or let him sleep in wet pjs).

@pastemoo: I live 1.5 hours from a CD store. I did all my CD shopping online....it was always such a surprise to get them in the mail...I had never seen a CD in real life til I ordered my first ones!

@cvbee: Eek! I only chose to CD *because* I saw them in the store. It's also why I chose gDiapers--they are sold in Babies R Us (and apparently CA, FL, and TX have them at Target!).
I can't imagine never seeing one and ordering it.
Our nearest store is about 30-45 min away and it is so cool! If I had know about it before I might have gone with a different brand (though gDiapers customer service ROCKS).

@pastemoo: You know what? I might have solved my overnight diaper issue by solving the night-waking problem. I guess when a baby is breastfeeding every 2 hours all night long, it CREATES an overnight diaper problem. I did buy those hemp inserts but haven't used them yet and the leak issue is already over. ha!
