I start with the threads where the poster really looks like they need answers and then I scan the first and 2nd pages to see if there's anything I can contribute to.

I go through page 1, one by one, then go on to page 2. Then sometimes I go into the threads with no replies and give them a boost.

I always check the August 2013 thread first, since its an exciting time for our group right now! Then I just look on first page to see what catches my eye! I need to be better at posting threads, that's my downfall. I'm sure once LO arrives ill be posting more!

I have the TTC boards favorited, so I always check them first, then on to all posts (although I have some categories hidden that I can absolutely not contribute to like parenting advice)

I look at posts I have replied to in order to see if there has been more activity, then look through the first few pages and click on topics of interest. I also have threads I check in on regularly, even though I don't always reply.

I look for ones that apply to me or that I can relate to or have an answer to....and that's mostly all I ever post on... I look through the first two pages and usuall only stick to the first one or I end up being a thread-killer.

@looch: There isn't a mobile version or an HB app is there? I can't stand to HB on my phone!

@Mommytotwois: No mobile version or app yet! We haven't gotten too many requests for one just yet, I think maybe because the web version has decent support for mobile browsers (you can post from the phone and upload photos from phone as well).

No strategery here. In my hostess days I'd just start from the top and move through them all, since I had to pretty much read everything, but now I strictly surf for pleasure

No strategy. I just browse through the first couple of pages and click if something catches my eye or sounds funny or interesting. Then I catch up on the blog. Then back to the boards where I click due date twins and hang out there for a bit.
